~Shayton~
I awoke the next morning, heading outside, and wondered if I ought to talk to Nazar anymore. He had something to do with my role, I knew it! But what? I couldn't stop obsessing over it. Maybe something had to happen to him first. Maybe he needed to get his role. Maybe I needed to know his role. Maybe he needed to die. I wasn't sure, but something had to happen that hadn't yet.
I was about to walk over to him when I felt my rolecard in my pocket. Sliding it out, I stared blankly for a moment at the gray word written on it: Executioner. That was why I'd felt so obsessed over Nazar. He was my target. I had to get him lynched. I placed it back into my pocket as a voice came over the intercom, interrupting the beginning of the town meeting that I'd tuned out.
"Attention, everyone!" The voice rang out. "Everyone in the town now has their roles! Also, no one's dead, if you can't tell. Bye." The intercom turned off. Everyone seemed on edge all of a sudden, all suspicious of one another. I grinned; the Townies were afraid. If I could just bullshit some evidence against Nazar, that would be it for him.
"I think I have a lead!" I called out. All eyes turned to me. "I'm the Sheriff, and I checked Nazar after I got my role, for obvious reasons." By 'obvious reasons', I meant how I had felt that he was linked to my role. The town murmured their understanding- or, in this case, misunderstanding. "He comes up as a Serial Killer. Lynch him!"
There was immediate uproar. The best part was that he claimed Doctor, which was supposedly commonplace for Serial Killers. Plus, if an Investigator checked him, it'd be a result that came up alongside Doctor.
"Deon!" Nazar blurted. "Help me out here!"
"He's innocent!" Deon insisted. "He healed me when he got his role! He's Doctor!"
"Of course you'd defend your brother!" I countered. "Who's to say you're not lying to save his ass? Guilty!" The votes went out. Only two people voted Nazar innocent: Deon and Jae.
"Deon, Jae... I'm sorry I can't protect you anymore." The sorrow in Nazar's voice was almost tangible. "Jae, keep your brother safe for me." He was hung.
"Thanks, Townies." I smirked. "That was a hella easy Executioner win."
