"Music teacher?" I asked smiling.
"Yes well she couldn't attend the tour with the others because of her dad so Antonio offered her a small job as a music teacher for the first years. She's so much like you."
That makes me smile. Pablo says Violetta is a lot like me and I personally think Valeria is a lot like Maria. It's funny how that works out but I adore it.
"She wouldn't tell me where she was going this morning." I reply happily.
"I'm not sure why she'd hide it from you." says Pablo, "She loves it. She even said she's considering doing the full training and taking the job on full time."
"Full time? I always thought she'd perform like Maria." I say as I watch her help her class.
"So did I but apparently she's more like you."
I'm so proud of Violetta when I hear this. She's chosen her own path and it's one she's truly happy with. I'm so glad everything has happened this way if it means Violetta is truly happy with her path.
"Her lesson should be over any minute so you can talk to her, I've got to go, but the offer for dinner stands, call me when you want to come, we'll make time for you." says Pablo with a small hug.
"Thanks, I'll ring you later and organise a time." I say smiling as he walks away.
Moments after Pablo had left, the bell rang and children began to file out of the classroom. Violetta waved goodbye to them all with the biggest smile on her face.
One stayed behind to show her something and she nodded in approval and said something to her that I couldn't quite make out. Although I couldn't tell what she had said, the girls face lit up, so I figured it was something good.
When everyone was gone Violetta turned around and began to clear up some sheets so I took the opportunity to sneak it.
"Miss Castillo, I never thought I'd see the day." I say as I stand behind her.
"Angie." cries Violetta as she turns around, "Did you follow me?"
"No Vilu." I said with a smile, "I came to see Pablo and he enlightened me on your whereabouts by accident."
"Okay." says Violetta smiling, "But since you know my secret, are you going to tell me yours?"
"Not yet." I say as I hug her, "But we do need to discuss you being a teacher! Pablo says you want to take on the role full time!"
"Don't you want me to be one?" says Violetta worried.
"Violetta I want you to follow your heart! If you love teaching, then teach! But why didn't you tell me?"
"I was hoping that by keeping my secret, you'd tell me yours, Angie, I need to know!" she replies rather frustrated.
"I know Violetta. I do. It's just difficult for me." I say sadly.
"Can you at least tell me one thing?" she says, "Promise me you don't have a boyfriend."
"Violetta, I promise. I'm not in a relationship with anyone." I say, rather relieved it wasn't anything I'd have to lie about.
"Good, because Angie, I think that the only chance my dad has, is if he really believes he can win you back."
I sigh. Not this again. I feel like I should tell her what her father did, but I know she will just tell me to forgive him. No, she won't tell me, she will beg me. Then, if I told her about Valeria, she'd insist we make up and I stay, but that's something I'm not prepared to do.
"And if he can't win me back?" I ask sadly.
"Then I'll lose him forever."
