Sitting at the the table, I felt German's gaze on me. It made me blush knowing he was watching me.
Earlier I had kissed him. I can't explain what possessed me to do so, but I did, because I felt I should. It's not out of sympathy though, I kissed him because I wanted too, because I needed to.
I don't regret it either. It was perfect and the moment was made even better after I pulled away. As I looked at him in that moment, I didn't know what to expect. I worried about what he would say, but he didn't say anything.
Instead he kissed me again and that one was better then the first.
Thinking about this distracted me and all I was doing was pushing my food around my plate.
"If you're not going to eat anymore, then you may as well get rid of it." says Violetta staring at me.
"No, no." I say, "I'm still hungry!"
"You may be hungry but you're distracted. You can just eat later." says Violetta as she lifts up my plate.
I smile at her slightly but she just shakes her head.
Once she had walked into the kitchen, I dared look at German. His eyes sparkled and I melted, their chocolate brown colour tugged right at my heartstrings. They reminded me of Valeria in a sense, but they also reminded me of us. When he'd always look at me that way before he found out who I was.
"What were you thinking about?" he says placing his hand on top of mine. He's suddenly a lot happier since the kiss, it's kind of like he is sprung back to life.
I flinch slightly at his touch but I let it be because it also comforted me.
"Us." I answer honestly.
German sighs, "Positive things I hope."
"Yes," I say and I find myself blushing slightly, "Only about today."
"Oh." says German with a smile.
"You sure have ways of cheering people up." I say giggling slightly.
"As you do." he says giggling too.
"I haven't been as happy as that in.." starts German, "Four years."
I look down slightly. Since I left.
"I love it when you blush." says German with a huge smile on his face.
"I don't." I say quietly.
"Why not?" says German with a massive smile plastered across his face.
"Because it means you know how I feel." I say, "Often when I try to hide it "
German keeps smiling, "One of the many reasons I love it."
"Many?" I say suspiciously.
"Yes," says German smiling, "You look stunning when you blush, it really highlights your eyes. I love that too."
I can feel my cheeks burning, he's making me blush violently.
"There it is." he says still smiling, "Those beautiful eyes. The one's I could look info forever. The one's that I could melt into."
