Hailey's POV(Rosie's mom)
"Mrs. Ryder please I didn't mean to--" Wyatt kept apologizing but I cut him off.
"Enough!" I yelled and sat back down at my desk.
"What are you going to do to me?" He asked with clear fear in his voice.
"Nothing." I answered simply.
"Nothing?" He asked confused.
"I don't need to waste my energy on you, especially when I had that deal with your father."
"Then what do you want me to do?"
"I want you to train your warriors ten times harder than you have ever done."
"Why?"
"You ask too many questions, Wyatt. You will be punished for shooting my daughter but for now I want you to get your warriors ready."
"I can't get them ready if I don't know what for."
I sighed. "That stone around my daughter's neck. It was given to her by my mother."
"I saw it. It was a destruction stone, right?"
"No. It's disguised as a destruction stone to scare mythical creatures. Its a protection stone."
"Which means?" He waited for an explanation.
"Which means that if she has the stone, then she has the book."
"And that means that she'll find out what she is."
"Finally you guessed something right! Now leave my office and tell my sister and niece to come in here."
"Yes, Mrs. Ryder."
Wyatt left my office and soon my sister, Hazel, and my niece Violet came into my office.
"Is there a reason you called us in here sister." Hazel spoke.
"Rosie has the book, and that means she'll soon find out what she is. What we are."

Rosie's POV
I don't know what I was doing but one thing was clear.
I loved it.
Jonathan slammed his lips onto mine.
I took me by complete surprise.
After I recovered, I kissed back.
He pulled me closer to him as soon as he realized I didn't pull away.
There were a million different scenarios going through my head.
Was I a good kisser?
Why was I kissing back?
Why am I enjoying it so much?
Did I lock the door?
Just this one kiss gave me a million butterflies in my stomach.
I wasn't used to being nervous but I was still enjoying it so much.
A million sparks erupted throughout my body from this one long kiss.
I was running low on air so I pulled away from him.
He just stared at me.
"Was I that bad?" I asked myself.
He chuckled. "You have no idea how long I've been waiting to kiss you. And you were amazing."
Great. I said that out loud.
