Rosie's POV

Everybody froze.

Except for me.

Everybody stared at Jonathan with shock in horror.

"W-what is he!?" Another officer asked in fear.

"I don't know." The first officer answered.

"We should kill him now." Another spoke.

"I agree." The first officer said.

They all pointed their guns at Jonathan.

"No!" I yelled while blocking Jonathan. "I won't let you kill him."

"He's a monster. He deserves to be dead."

"Oh sure, 'destroy what you're afraid of.' Thanks for the logic." I said.

Jonathan growled at me to leave.

'Go!' He spoke in my head.

"I am not leaving you, Jonathan," I said to him

"You can understand him?" Jacob asked.

"Well, in that case, you both deserve to be dead." The first officer aimed his gun at me. "Open fire!"

All the guns went off.

I got this reflex to put my hands up. I did as I closed my eyes and waited for impact.

But nothing came.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw that the bullets had stopped in mid-air.

I had stopped them.

I gasp as all the bullets fell to the ground.

Everyone now looked at me in horror.

'How did you do that?' Jonathan asked in my head.

'I don't know.' I answered.

I stared at my trembling hands.

The first officer kept firing at me once he recovered from the shock.

But the bullets never reached me.

They all fell to the ground until he ran out of ammo.

"Jacob get behind me." I said.

"Why?"

"Now is not that time for questions! Get behind me!" I yelled.

He ran behind me as all the officers began to open fire again.

I held my hands up again and the bullets once again fell to the ground before they could reach me.

I felt something in me take over and I could feel my eyes change.

Once the officers ran out of ammo they stared at me.

I stared back.

I didn't know what I was doing, I just did it.

I stared into their eyes. "You will forget about me and you will come to the conclusion that I left the country. You will forget about what you saw here today. That includes the wolf. And you will no longer hunt me down."

"We will no longer hunt you down." They repeated what I said then began to walk out of the bar.

I snapped out of the trance I was in and collapsed on the ground.

I felt lightheaded and dizzy.

"Rosie, are you ok?" Jacob asked while helping me sit down on the floor.
