Seven Idols and them

"This place is a torture chamber."

Baekhyun's friend wasn't all that happy about being a demigod, and it kind of hurt his pride when half his life he'd been denying the existence of greek gods. And although Baekhyun always got irritated by his friends ranting it eventually lead him to speak of living a normal life as a human as he once had lived as one. He told stories that always intrigued Baek. Stories that pushed him to wanting to work harder to be able and leave Olympus.

"I don't get it though...you out of everyone here should be happy to be here. Your son of Zeus for boltz sake." Luhan spoke. Baekhyun was curious about that to so he turned to look at his other friend across the table from him. It was a lunch, and a small celebration for those who got the letter this year. And though Baekhyun wasn't pumped about coming he was dragged by Luhan. He didn't mind being here if his friends just stayed with him at all time.

"Well just cause Zeus is my father doesn't mean I'm special. To me it means nothing. I just want to go back home." Jongdae frowned, he was the only son of Zeus. That meaning he had no brothers and slept in a camp all by his lonesome. He was pressured into being the best and the strongest. He was expected to be. Gladly, he made friends like Baekhyun, Luhan and Tao that didn't care who he was meant to be. At least not all the time. "This is your home..." Baekhyun smiled earning a small chuckle from Jongdae, "I'm growing used to it Baek."

"Well, we are here tonight to celebrate that our Baekhyun has gotten his letter. Let's not get all depressed about Chen's lack of interest in his own identity."

Tao was one of Baeks best friends, he was also son of Hermes god of the roadways, travelers, merchants and thieves. Everyone knew Tao was a softy though. He had great abilities and was strong sure, but despite that and his appearance he was kind hearted and loved his friends. He also has never really stole before. "That's right, congrats Baekhyun." Baek got a pat on the shoulder from behind him and slowly turned around as he recognized that low and husky voice. It was the voice of none other than Park Chanyeol and dear zeus did he regret turning around to meet the guys charming smile looking down at him. All he could do was nod and smile back from the corner of his eye watching as his friends nodded in disapproval. It wasn't the first time his idol spoke to him and it wasn't the first time his mind went blank when he did. "Heard you're a son of Aphrodite. Is that right?" Baek nodded again. He would slap himself later, how can he forget how to talk just like that? Chanyeol must of sensed his awkwardness since his smile slowly became an awkward one too. Baekhyun wanted to bury himself alive for that. "Well I'd say it somehow fits you. Goddess of Love and beauty is she?"

Baek could hear Luhan hold in laughter with soft snorts and he suddenly came down from the clouds, shaking his head a bit with a small nervous chuckle. "Y-yeah. Thank you but it wasn't what I wanted to be-" Baek was cut off by Kyungsoo who showed up behind Chanyeol and with a small heart shaped smile, almost like it teased Baekhyun but he couldn't deny how cute the guy looked when he smiled. "Hello..." His smile was directed mostly to Chen, Baek as well as everyone else knew the seven idols wanted Chen to join them badly. And despite Chen's continuous refusal to the offer they continued to ask hoping one day Chen would accept. Baekhyun hated Chen for refusing having a spot with the big ones around campus but he somehow was glad, because there would be no space for him if Chen did accept.Was that selfish? He let his eyes wander back to Chanyeol who was now looking at Kyungsoo beside him with a loving look. It made his insides turn, he wasn't in love with Chanyeol. Baekhyun had convinced himself of that. He just envied the guys life and perfection.

"Congratulations Baekhyun, Kris told me about having a new brother. I'd only guessed right, it was you."

Was that a compliment? He wasn't sure.

  Soon enough the other five joined behind them and greeted his friends and him a little too formally before walking off to their own table. Baek noticed the way his now brother Kris looked him up and down before smiling to himself and walking away with the others. Kyungsoo waving and walking right after, with Chanyeol being tugged away with him "Well bye guys, I'm kind of hungry now and I want to congrat others. Oh and Tao, please tell your sisters to stop spying me inside my camp. And to return my watch and other thing they 'borrowed' from my room." to that Tao snorted. "No way, they're your cousins, why don't you tell them?" Baekhyun noticed the way Chanyeol cringed a bit, and it wasn't a pretty feature. Baek knew this was the side of Chanyeol that irritated him the most.The part that reminded him that no matter how kind and loving and handsome the guy looked, he was a part time asshole. "I asked you to do it please. Also, ignoring our parents brothership, I rather you not announce our own relationship as cousins a loud. People don't need to be remembered." Tao glared at Chanyeol's retreating figure. Meanwhile Luhan laughed and Chen ate as if he hadn't been listening in the conversation at all. "How can you idolize that giant fool.."

Baek shrugged. "How can you like Kris?" Tao snorted, "Your brother? He might be a fool too, but he's a handsome fool." that earned him a role of eyes from both Chen and Luhan (Who stopped laughing). With a small sigh, Baek stood up, "Where are you going? We're going to start the celebration soon." luhan said, Tao nodding. "Well I want another drink, my mouth is all dry."

Luhan laughed, "You lick your lips too much while eyeing Park?" Chen narrowed his eyes at Luhan, then glanced at baek who was flustered and obviously embarrassed. "Get me a drink too can you?" Baek nodded and before he turned to leave hit Luhan upside the head smiling to himself as he heard the boy groan.

The celebration ended shortly, Baekhyun had fun laughing with his friends and dancing a bit too, once in a while glancing Park Chanyeol's way and sometimes meeting eye to eye, of course Baek looking away first. The night was going calmly, and Baek was ready to call it a day when he bumped into a very familiar face.

"Kris, sorry didn't see you." He forced a smile, Kris looked down at him with a slight smirk. One that annoyed him. "I'm tall, and it'd be hard to miss me giving my looks," his smirk got wider. ", little brother." he couldn't help but groan. "Yeah, no. Also, let's be real with each other please. We might be brothers now, but I don't plan on calling you my brother anytime soon or having you call me brother." Kris looked offended, but it was fake and he knew it. "Well, Baekhyun was it?- " Baek nodded. "I was meaning to talk with you about your moving to Aphrodites camp. Asyou know, I was the only guy in her camp. But sleep in with others in another camp, and now that you are here it'd be unfair to leave you rooming with a whole bunch of our sisters." Baek nodded once more, a bit slowly as he was confused about where this was getting at. "And so, being I no longer had to sleep in with the girls, Chiron never really sent anyone to build a camp for a male.. Therefore he's having you move in to my room, it's big so we fit. And our roommates are also men as you might know." Baek was agape, and Kris had to stop and close the guys mouth with a sigh. "It's only for some time. This wasn't my idea but you need to sleep someplace since you can't go to your old camp as there are others in wait." Baek continued to stare, surely this was a joke. And he could see he was being strange as Kris looked anywhere but at his face, the guy looked annoyed. "The others don't know about it yet, but I'll tell them as soon as you start packing." With that he turned to walk away but turned back around with a serious expression, to Baek it felt like an intimidating glare or a warning look. "Also, as you mentioned before. Let us not refer to each other as brothers, in public more so."

Sorry this chapter feels empty, but well i'm trying to post everyday I'm free. And I have a bad habit of leaving stories half unfinished, but I liked this idea very much so I don't want to stumble on writers block.
