Okay. I'll leave you alone now. Back to the story*

It took a lot of courage for Archie to get out of his car. He had been sitting outside of No Name's apartment for the last five minutes, nervously drumming his fingers on the steering wheel of his car. Maybe it was a bad idea. Maybe he should've listened to his dad. Maybe he shouldn't have been so selfish, because that what this was wasn't? An act out of selfishness?

When Archie finally got out of his car, he stood on the doorstep of the apartment for far too long before ringing the doorbell, cracking his knuckles and tapping his foot impatiently. When someone finally opened the door, he let out a sigh of relief.

"You must be Carry." Archie greeted, looking down at the small blonde little girl in front of him. She was dressed as Elsa from Frozen, and her little hands gripped the door with uncertainty. Archie and her had never really met before. Archie was always up in no name's room before she got home, and she was always asleep before Archie left. He and Jay saw each other a lot more, considering they went to the same school and walked home with nameless and him sometimes.

"How do you know my name?" Carry squeaked, her voice dripping with fear and reluctance.

"Your bother told me. Black Licorice I guess." Archie explained calmly.

"He talks about us?" She asked with a sudden smile on her face, and Archie couldn't help but to start to relax at the sight of it.

"Yeah, he does. Can I see him?"

"Well, I'm not sure. Jay told me that he was sick." Carry furrowed his eyebrows. "You should come inside anyways though." She said while opening the door farther.

"Carry? Who was at the door? You're missing your favorite part." An unrecognizable voice called from the living room. Carry forgot about Archie immediately, rushing into the living room where Olaf was about to begin his rendition of "In Summer".

Archie took this chance to quickly make his way up the stairs. He paused at the sight of Jay sitting in the hallway, staring through the open doorway of no name's room sadly. "Hey." He greeted quietly, pausing just outside the room he couldn't bring himself to look into.

"He looks like he's in pain." Jay said bluntly. "It's like he's here but he's not really here. He's been like this for hours." He began to whisper, and Archie took that as a cue to sit beside him. "It's weird because I didn't think I cared this much about him but I do. We're family, all of us. I wish I could do something." Jay frowned.

"It'll be over soon, just this week is going to be hard for him." Archie bit his lip, spilling knowledge that he could only take with a grain of salt himself.

"I guess so. Are you going to go in?" Jay tried to smile, although Archie could see how upset he was.

"I'm scared." Archie admitted.

"Of him?"

"No. I'm scared of seeing him like that and not being able to do anything. That's gonna break my heart, my dad warned me of that. It still didn't stop me from coming here. And then I'm scared that in a week from now it'll be awkward between us because I know deep down that he would not want me to see him like this and that'll probably break his heart and now I'm confused. Now I feel as if I should go."

"Don't go. See him." Jay insisted.

"But-"

"Get off your ass and walk through the door. It's a simple process." He laughed.

"It seems like everyone in this household is a master of sarcasm and bluntness." Archie mumbled under his breath.

"You're already here, why back out now? I think it'll do him some good."

"I feel as if I'm going to regret this." Archie said as he heaved his body up off the ground and dusted himself off.

"I'll go in with you." Jay suggested, repeating the redhead's actions.

"Okay." Archie agreed, taking a deep breath before taking a step into his room. A gasp left his lips and suddenly he felt sick to his stomach. Jay had to grab his hand and pull him into the room a bit more, because all he could do was stare.

The boy looked awful.

His skin was as pale as snow and his eyes were bloodshot red. His eyes were trained on the wall in front of him and nothing seemed to break his focus on it. He sat with his knees hugged close to his chest, shaking and rocking back and forth. He looked terrified. Every time he blinked, he jumped with a slight whimper. It went on like clockwork.

"Your dad came over and it was like he couldn't even see your dad. It's like-" Jay began.

"He's here but he's not really here." Archie choked out.

His heart was officially broken.

He walked over to the bed carefully until he was standing right beside him and frowned.

He really shouldn't have come.

No name jumped again, and Archie closed his eyes before reaching for his hand and squeezing it tightly.

It took a few seconds, but no name squeezed back. Archie gasped again, opening his eyes to look down at their entwined hands. The boy was still staring straight ahead, but it was a sign that he knew the redhead was there.

Archie got an idea and attempted to pull his hand away, but the boy whined and gripped his hand tighter. Archie cursed inside of his head and pulled his hand away harder, mad at himself for finding what the boy did cute and ruining it. The boy whined again and Archie quickly climbed onto his bed with a plan.

Jay stared at him curiously and Archie just blushed in response before wrapping his arms around the boy and pulling him into his chest. The raven haired beauty's shaking and rocking came to a stop and Archie breathed out a sigh of relief.

"Do you regret coming now?" Jay teased, looking at the two of them with a soft smile on his face.

"Shush." Archie mumbled, burying his head into the boy's shoulder.

"Call me if you need anything." Jay chuckled before walking out of the room and closing the door gently behind him.

The two spent the rest of the day like that and Archie didn't mind. He was more worried if anything, especially around midnight when the boy in his arms kept waking up from short lived periods of sleep. When that happened, Archie hummed and played with his hair to calm him down. By 3 a.m. The boy was finally asleep for a time frame longer than 10 minutes and Archie took this chance to move him into a more comfortable position.

By the time the boy's alarm clock went off, the two were dead to the rest of the world. The boy had his head hurried in the redhead's chest, his arms wrapped lazily around him as the redhead slept with his chin rested on top of the boy's head.

It was going to be a long week.
