"I have been looking for you everywhere." The guilty redhead spoke. His black nikes stopped in front of the raven haired beauty who was sat with his knees drawn into his chest and a book in his hand outside of the gym. His free hand was in his hair as usual, twirling and twisting it at a roughly. It was relatively empty after school and the boy was wondering why he hadn't taken the advantage to stay after and read there before.

"And I have been avoiding you, or can you not comprehend that?" The boy said blankly, never taking his eyes off of his book for a second.

"You've been ignoring me all day, can you please stop?" Archie frowned as he took a seat in front of the boy and attempted to pull the book out of his hand.

"Archie, I do not want to be around you right now." He said as he snatched his book back.

"I'm sorry." Archie sighed.

"You are always sorry." The boy mumbled.

"I went all the way to your house to see if you were there and at first I thought you were just ignoring me but it turned out you just weren't home. Then you didn't answer your phone and to be honest, my heart stopped because I thought something happened to you. So even though you're giving me one hell of an attitude, for good reason, I'm just really happy to see you right now. So I'm not leaving you, no matter how much you want me to." Archie stood his ground.

The boy's eyes flickered up to a pair of brown eyes for a split second, then landed back onto his book.

It was better than nothing.

"There really isn't a reason for you to be jealous you know?" Archie said quietly, and that's when the boy slammed his book shut.

"That is not the point. You let him touch you like that and then you laughed as if it was the funniest thing in the world. Guess what, Archie? I do not find someone else touching you funny! I do not find the fact that you let him, funny! And yes, I know it was not serious but it was serious to me. I do not know how to deal with the emotion of jealousy because I have never experienced it, and I hate you for making me experience it like how you make me feel everything else! So let me be mad and leave me alone!" He huffed.

"You just admitted you were jealous." Archie smirked.

"Archie fucking Andrews I swear to-"

"I'm not leaving." Archie rolled his eyes. "I shouldn't have let him touch me like that. I just wanted to see your reaction." He admitted. "And I know that's kind of fucked up but I like that you care even though you wish you didn't."

"Cool story. Leave me alone." He said before opening his book again and ignoring Archie.

"Remember when you read to me on our date yesterday?" Archie continued talking, ignoring the boy's anger.

"Remember when I told you to leave me alone?"

"Remember when you kissed me goodnight on the cheek?"

"Remember when Reggie caressed your cheek and inched his hand up your thigh?"

"Remember when I broke up with Reggie because I wanted you and I still do?"

"Or maybe you just wanted something new." The boy said quietly.

"Insecurity doesn't look good on you." Archie teased, poking his leg.

"Oh, trust me Archie I am well aware of my immense worth."

"Then why are you so mad at me?" Archie groaned.

"You do not get it. Before you, I did not have to do this. I did not get mad, I was rarely happy, I never blushed let alone giggled. I never cared about anyone, I never cared about anything, and I sure as hell did not develop feelings for redheads who have tendencies to piss me off on purpose. You for some reason find messing with my emotions fun, but it is not fun for me. Purposely trying to upset me with your ex-boyfriend was fucked up. What about that do you not understand? Why do you just expect me to forgive you so easily? Why should I even trust that you? What if one day you want to see me cry? Are you going to break my heart on purpose?" The boy ranted again, but Archie really didn't seem to grasp his point.

"Don't you think you're overreacting?" Archie asked calmly.

"No. I see why you think I am, but I cannot agree. From my point of view, it seems as if you are here to explore all of my emotions and then leave."

"That's not even remotely true."

"You cannot blame me for thinking this way."

"Yes I can, because it's bullshit. I wouldn't do that." Archie scoffed.

"I would really enjoy being alone, Archie." The Boy said one last time.

"Well I'm not leaving."

"Then you are going to be here for a while." The boy shrugged.

Three hours.

Nameless sat still reading for three hours. He managed to finish his book, and as soon as Archie thought he was done he pulled out another one.

"It's six o'clock." Archie yawned after three hours of silence.

"Okay."

"What are you even doing here?" Archie had changed his position multiple times throughout the three hours. He was currently using his book bag as a pillow, laying on the cold floor beneath him.

"Waiting for Jay to get out of tryouts."

"That's sweet." Archie smiled.

"Okay."

"Is that all you're going to say to me?"

"Yes."

"Don't distance yourself from me. We were making so much progress."

"Archie. When I say I want to be alone, I want to be alone. Sometimes I require space. I am not going to be mad over this forever, you just have to give me some space for a second. I cannot think clearly when you are around." The boy sighed before getting up as the sound of excited chatter and the smell of sweat filled the air. They gym doors were opening and athletes were spilling out into the hallway as they spoke.

"You waited for me." Jay smiled weakly as he exited the gym with his duffle bag and a worn out expression.

"Did you do well?" Nameless asked.

"I don't think so. Varsity coach barely looked at me. Tryouts are for the rest of the week though so I have to do my best to impress him. It just sucks that I'm always going to have this height problem. No matter how many shots I make or people I cross, I still somehow get overlooked." He sighed sadly. "But c'mon let's go home. Carry is probably bored out of her mind with Dave."

"Dave?" Archie asked.

"He's our adoptive dad." Jay explained tiredly, rubbing his eyes.

"I feel like I've never actually seen them before." Archie mused.

"They are not home until really late, or if they are home they are mostly working except on the weekends. They are usually in Carry's room or Mike's room by the time you leave." Nameless mumbled.

"What's up with you two? The air feels strained." Jay raised an eyebrow.

"He let his ex boyfriend caress him in front of me and I became upset." Nameless yawned.

"Whys are you always so blunt?" Archie mumbled.

"That is just who I am."

Posting today cuz I wanna move onto the good stufffffffff.

I think the hardest part of writing is deciding which scenes are necessary and which aren't. Cuz trust me sometimes I feel like I include so much fluff in this book that the plot is lost. It's not really a problem with these chapters but once I hit chapter 25 it's just straight fluff all the time ugh so I'm trying to fix it.
