Chapter 7: Security

Vienna woke up, eyes wide open and breathing very fast, peter was saying something to her, he was shaking her face and his eyes were concerned. Vienna looked to her left, Carina was saying something as well, she had needles in her hands and chemicals scattered around the infirmary, Vienna's hearing slowly came back.
"Vienna can you hear me, please say something.." Peter said worryingly
"Wh-what happened" Vienna said with a quiet voice,her body was very weak
"You weren't breathing at all, you're body receptors weren't responding at all" Carina said injecting something into Vienna
"H-how? Wha-what are you doing?" Vienna said struggling to comprehend what was happening
"You're favourite, chemicals" Carina said
"Supposed to keep you up and running" peter said helping Carina with the chemicals
Vienna looked around her, she saw breathing masks and a defibrillator right next to her. The cardiac monitor was next to Carina, Vienna looked closely at it.
"How long?" She asked
"7 minutes" Peter replied
"Shit"Vienna said shocked "That long?"
"Thankfully not any longer" Carina replied sarcastically "not even the highest voltage would wake you up, luckily peter came up with the idea to use chemicals" Carina said smiling
"Thanks peter" Vienna smiled
"Thanks for staying alive" peter smiled back
Hours later Vienna was working on something down at the workshop, Carina walked in
"It was definitely from the condition you have vi, we need to find you a stable medi-"
"My dream, it was of Tony and me" she said still working, Carina looked at her and sat down next to her.
"Hey you Okay?" Carina asked
"I don't know, it was all a bit too much" Vienna sighed
"It can be, you'll get through it" Carina patted her back and Vienna smiled a little
"What've you got there?" Carina said looking at what Vienna was working on
"Might just call it a weapon of choice" Vienna said while she held out two daggers and some throwing knives
"Knives eh?" Carina said looking at one of them
"Yep, I'm just modifying them so they come back to me" Vienna said
"Come back-Umm How?" Carina asked
"Chemicals" Vienna winked and she injected a substance into both of her wrists "Hopefully this will work, hows the medicine going?"
"Well we haven't gone very far, the computer is still running diagnostics" Carina sighed
"Hey it's alright, I'm certain we can find something in shield's Headquarters" Vienna said "anyway, how did you know what to put in me?"
"I just used a usual anti biotic formulas and added some other things that will help neutralise some bits, just in case. But im afraid it's not the most effective" Carina replied
"Hey, I'm grateful anyways" Vienna said throwing a knife precisely at a cross on cardboard that was stuck to the wall, suddenly the knife flew back into her hand
"Yay it works, for now, oh and sorry about the wall" Vienna laughed a little while Carina rolled her eyes smiling. After a while of talking peter walked in.
"Hey guys, um looking at shields Headquarters, we're gonna need to get through some borders of security" Peter said "woah these are sick!" Peter said looking at Vienna's weapons
"That's no problem, I've got some police and security jackets so we can blend in, and I'm hoping you didn't forget your hacking skills peter" Carina said
"Well that's no problem as well" Peter said
"Well then, let's have some fun" Vienna said throwing a knife at a dummies head
"Wow I'm great at this" Vienna smiled
"Let's not get too ahead of ourselves vi, we haven't even stepped foot out of this place yet" Carina smiled
Half an hour later the three of them were in the car, Vienna was wearing a police jacket, while Carina was wearing her CIA jacket. But peter was in his suit with a hoodie on top, hiding in the back trying to hack into security.
"Carina, how many up ahead?" Peter asked concentrated
"I'd say around 7" Carina replies
"Oh lord, this might take a while" peter moaned
"There's not enough time for a while peter, we're getting close" Vienna said
One by one peter hacked into each security border quickly, once they reached the last one they were stopped
"We've got man 11 o'clock, interrogation i assume" Carina stated
"Agent, I'm afraid that the workers aren't here currently, you may come tomorrow for-" the man was interrupted
"Oh don't worry sir, we're not here for that, we're just here for a progress check up" Carina lied
"May I ask on who's orders?" The man asked
"The original director of shield sir, Director Fury" Carina lied
"Oh, then of course agent" the man said and opened the last gate
"Oh god, you better be sorry if Fury finds out" Vienna laughed
"Let's hope not" Carina smiled
"He might get a little Fury-ous" Peter said
"Oh my parker, That was painful to hear" Vienna said laughing
"Hey guys we're here" Carina said stopping the car. The three of them got out of the car and looked upon a broken headquarters
"Wait, Aren't there security cameras?" Vienna asked
"Don't worry I've disabled them" Peter replied
"Good good, lets go on another hunt for truth shall we?" Carina said walking in
