"I still get high on your love.."
I have been dating Taehyung for a couple years now. And somehow every time I see him I get butterflies in my stomach. Like if it's like a first date. He never ceases to amaze me. Everything he does makes me fall in love with him over and over again. He's always running through my mind. He's always there. Even if I wanted to get him out of my mind I can't. Whenever he gets home from work he brings me flowers or a small gift. Showers me with gifts, kisses and hugs. And I love it. The way he spoils me. When he wakes up in the morning, giving me morning kisses. When we are about to get to bed, hugs, kisses and cuddles. I love it all! Every single thing he does I love it!
When we go out on the weekends, he takes me out on dates or to go out at 3am in the morning to the parking lot just to see the new dance moves, Hoseok, his dance teacher taught him. Or when we go out with his friends to the arcades. The way he gets jealous when Jungkook and I are playing video games. Or when the others have my attention, he gets jealous in the cutest way possible.
We seldom argue but when we do, he ends up getting sad and wanting to cuddle or gives me butterfly kisses all over my face just to cheer me up.
He takes me to school every morning and comes to pick me up in the evening. Brings me lunch at lunchtime and a small gift. I tell him that he doesn't have to buy me gifts but he insists. So I let him be.
Last year he bought a puppy and named it Oso. Like bear in Spanish. It was funny, because he would end up calling him 'Osu'. Oso, loves cuddles and loves to be around me. Sometimes Taehyung gets jealous that I give more attention to Oso instead of him. I also end up cuddling both of them, because they both get jealous. Like father like son, I guess.
Today is our 5 year anniversary together. I just got out of school and Taehyung will be here any minute now. I walk through the halls with Jungkook. Him and I are studying the same thing. Jungkook was congratulated me on my anniversary. I thank him and I see Taehyung pull up. He gets out of the car and waves at us. We wave back. I bid farewell with Jungkook and jog over to Taehyung. He bear hugs me and I giggle.
"Taetae, I can't breathe!" I giggle, trying to grasp for air.
"Oh, haha sorry." He shows his beautiful rectangular smile.
He pulls away and opens the car door for me. I thank him. He jogs on over to the drivers seat and hopes in. He smiles at me and takes my hand. He starts the car and drives out of the school's parking. He sings along to the radio and does many silly faces. The whole car ride was full of us singing and laughter.
We arrive home. He opens the door for me and we intertwine our fingers together. We enter the house and I rose petals and balloons on the floor. I look up at Taehyung shocked and he chuckles. We continue to walk on the trail of rose petals and balloons. Leading us all the way to the back yard. Revealing our backyard beautifully decorated and balloons and lanterns everywhere. The boys and some friends jump up and yell.
"Surprise! Happy anniversary, Gia!"
I cover my mouth shocked. I start to tear up and look at Taehyung. He hugs me and whispers.
"Happy anniversary, baby!"
We walk over to everyone and they congratulate and hug us. Many gifts on a table and a gorgeous cake in the middle. Everyone was so sweet and caring to be able to plan this for us. I made sure to thank each and everyone of them. We sang and danced. Having a wonderful time.
We enjoyed the party all night long. The party had finally come to an end and we all cleaned up. Everyone bid their farewells and left.
Taehyung and I were finally alone. He picks me up and wraps my legs around his waist as he kisses my face all over. I giggled at the kisses and pecked his lips. He lays us down on our bed and pulls me close.
"Another year together.." He saids happily.
"And I hope we have many more." I say.
"Oh we will!" He takes something out of his pocket.
He takes out a small red velvet box. He opens it to reveal a beautiful diamond ring. I looked at him shocked and jump at him. Hugging him tightly.
"Yes, Yes, Yes! A million times yes!"
"I knew you would say yes." He chuckles as he holds me close.
I'm finally the man of my dreams, the man I'm totally in love with.
"Taehyung." I smile at him.
"Yes, baby." He smiles back.
"Even after all these years together, I still get high on your love.."
