People say good things don't last, and Guan Lin strongly agrees to it when he faced an unhappy Jeno who was looking as if he wanted to snap the former's head off his neck.

"What the heck is wrong with you?!"

"Why did you have to mention him then?" Guan Lin seethed out menacingly, his eyes turning to the ground soon as his grip on his basketball tightened. Jeno rolled his eyes as he got up to his feet.

"That still doesn't validify your reason for shoving me harshly to the ground," He started, hands rubbing his pained legs as if they could help soothe the pain. "Why are you always so triggered when I mention Jeo—"

"Shut up."

The older gave Guan Lin a sharp glare before brushing off non-existent dust off him. "If you're gonna be foul about this shit, I don't think we can continue practising because I wouldn't want to practise with someone so glum." With that, Jeno snatched the ball away from Guan Lin but Guan Lin got it back with force, making Jeno frown deeper.

"Use your own ball to practise. I'm gonna go." Guan Lin stated curtly, not sparing the other a look even for a second as he went to get his bag, turning his way out of the place.

Guan Lin felt bad the moment he stepped out of the court, but he is too stubborn to apologise for pushing Jeno harsh enough to fall earlier. He really thought he could let go of the past and treat Jeno like the way before all the bad things happened, but every of his hope was gone without a trace once the latter muttered out the name of someone he doesn't want to remember. He just snapped, as if something triggered his senses as he found himself pushing Jeno to the ground with his body while stealing the ball from him since they were practising their one-on-one.

It was so abrupt that he could not control himself and before he knew, everything went downhill. So much for wanting to patch things up with Jeno.

Feeling guilty has no use now that he is already walking back home, feet getting heavier with each step as his eyes were glued to the ground. Should I apologise for being rude?

He sighed, rubbing his temples. Everything is so overwhelming at the moment that all he wants to do now is to sleep away.

While drowning himself in remorse, he looked up from the ground when he heard touches of laughter, somehow getting irritated even though they did no wrong. With his current mood, it is hard to not get anything on his nerves, but realising who was in front of him, his annoyance did not last.

"Wanna hang out at my house?"
"Let me inform my parents first."

He did not mean to eavesdrop their conversation, he would claim as he could hear them only because they spoke loud enough, probably since no one else is around them. Guan Lin watched as his neighbour's face contorted into a frown, his very own remaining unchanged as he stared longer.

"Seriously? It's not like you're going far away."
"You know how controlling my parents can be sometimes... They'll make me eat only 3 meals per day if I were to defy them."

Guan Lin raised his eyebrows in alarm hearing that. Does that mean that weird junior eats more than 3 meals a day? That is a little, too much? As much as he loves eating, he will probably never par with Seon Ho's level.

"And that's how much people typically eat, you glutton. Tell me, how the hell did you manage to stay skinny even after eating so much?" Justin inquired, creasing his eyebrows with curiosity. Guan Lin who is listening at the sidelines is equally as expectant for Seon Ho's reply.

If he eats so much, why does he still look like a stick?

Though, Justin and Guan Lin are pretty much the same but they don't eat as much as Seon Ho so that is not the main point.
