Not far off from himself, Seon Ho saw a figure. It took him a few minutes to notice that person needed help since the path was dark with almost no light till his eyes got used to the darkness. Clinging onto his bag straps tightly, he dashed towards that person hurriedly.

"Hello, do you need help?"

There is no way Seon Ho could leave a damsel in distress as he saw a bag on the floor right beside the person soon enough after his words. The lady was struggling to take it, glancing at Seon Ho quickly for a second before she continued reaching out to get the bag, seemingly not wanting his help. Something about this woman seems off, Seon Ho thought but shook it off when he stared at the woman who was still trying to get hold of her bag that seemed rather unfeminine in comparison to her but he has no rights to judge her taste, or stereotype females based on superficial aspects.

Seeing her struggle made Seon Ho feel bad so he picked up the bag instead, with ease. The lady paused whatever she was doing for a bit before going back to her initial posture, bowing politely as she thanked him. Seon Ho bowed back with a smile, shyly saying a 'welcome'. She then placed her hands on the wheels, pushing herself towards the direction of the houses.

"For a female, her voice is extremely deep and low." Seon Ho muttered to himself, looking at the lady who is now a distance away. His stare was gone when he felt his phone vibrating. His hand reached into his blazer pocket, his phone slipping perfectly into his hand as he took it out and bit his lips anxiously when he saw that it's his father calling.

Giving the woman one last look, he picked up the call before running back home.

While Seon Ho was gone, Guan Lin on the other side lay on his bed as he tossed and turned left and right, unable to rest peacefully. He is tired, of everything in general other than his fatigued body. He really wants to sleep and never wake up again. It sounds like a carefree fantasy that will never happen to him, not when his inner conflict seeps into his heart, hindering sleep.

He let out a soft grimace as he yet again turn to lay sidewards on the right, shutting his eyes before a terrible scene flashed across his mind. He instantly opened his eyes, shivering as he tried catching his breath.

Again, the same scene comes to taunt his mind, heart stabs every time his head replays it on its own accord. He wished he will just lose his memories, because he wouldn't want to go through that pain all over again.

As if he wasn't disturbed enough, his Mother came in, gently tapping his shoulder. "Someone is looking for you." She said in Mandarin, a gentle smile worn on her beautiful face. It gave Guan Lin no reason to ignore as he smiled back, a forced one at that. He then got up from bed before heading out of his room, eyes falling upon a figure a few metres away from me.

"Didn't I tell you to leave me alone?" He let out a heavy sigh as his hand made its way to rub his temples in slight annoyance. The other guy said nothing as he looked away, a sorry look making its way on his face. "I need you to come to my house right now, I need some help..."

"Can't you ask someone else, like Justin?"

"You do know Justin and I aren't exactly on good terms..."

Guan Lin rolled his eyes. "And what made you think I would comply?"

Jeno bit his lips this time, eyes all the way to the ground. He is unable to stay still, and that is frustrating for Guan Lin to see. "Fine, I will go, but if it's an unimportant matter, I will leave right away."

With that, Guan Lin stormed out of his house, not in the least caring if Jeno followed along as he went into the house next door. Jeno heaved out a breath as he prayed the younger wouldn't do anything rash once he entered his house.
