Guan Lin and Seon Ho could only stare, the older annoyed while the younger uncertain. The pattering only brought forth more vexation to Guan Lin whose eyes became half-lid, orbs of danger glinting before he clenched his teeth when a brief cooling sensation pecked his leg.

"What do we do now?" Said Seon Ho, nibbling on his finger before he glanced at the older. "The rain doesn't seem to be stopping any time soon."

Guan Lin rubbed his temple, giving one last look at the wet court. The sour smell of rain penetrated through his nostrils, making him scrunch his nose in distaste. Not everyone who is sad loves rain, just so you know.

"Keep your ball first," The senior's eyes stared right into Seon Ho before he took steps away slowly. "We're going somewhere else."

Seon Ho listened, the ball inside his black bag that now looks like it contained a bomb at how it bulged out. He realised then Guan Lin had not move far, a face of embarrassment on the older who then turned to him. With his lips that formed a line, the senior pursed them open hesitantly.

"Where..." His eyes fell to the ground before he gulped slightly. "Where is the mall?"

Seon Ho almost chortled, completely baffled at his question. Is he even a teenager?

Guan Lin wanted to bury himself somewhere to spare himself from the humiliation, since he is knowing of how absurd it is to not know a common hotspot among young-ins at his age. It can't be help when his life only revolves around the basketball court, home and school.

He practically has no life outside of basketball, as if his soul was destined to stick with solely basketball all his life.

Seon Ho sighed at how Guan Lin's figure retreated, a smile on his face as he placed his arm over the other's shoulder.

It took the older for a surprise when they made eye contact, for Seon Ho's grin blinded him with the twinkle in them just then. The older wondered if the boy's eyes are always like this before he turned away, snapping himself out of his thoughts.

"I'll guide the way then!" Seon Ho exclaimed, a foolish grin plastered on his cheeky features that Guan Lin could not help but smile softly, even if he hid it within split seconds when their eyes met again.

"Okay." Was all Guan Lin could muster out at the moment, eyes away from the younger who was still smiling brightly before they made their way to the nearest mall.

They reached after quite some time due to Guan Lin's troublesome crutches, which Guan Lin felt apologetic for burdening Seon Ho more than he should. Though, he knew the junior didn't find it a hassle with how he gave him the same cheerful grin as he patiently guided him.

In the mall, people threw the older looks, specifically at his crutches and no matter Seon Ho tried distracting him by talking to him, their eyes still burned his skin. Seon Ho could see how troubled Guan Lin was, his brows furrowed as he wondered how he could catch the boy's attention.

Just then, a whiff of freshly baked pastries filled their nostrils. Both of them gulped down their saliva before they gave each other a look. Needless to say, they went into the cafe near them without hesitation, letting their stomach do the talking as they browsed through the menu laid in front of them.

Seon Ho took the initiative to order their food and beverages, but it was Guan Lin's debit card that he brought along because the older is persistent in helping one way or another.

When Seon Ho returned to his seat, he saw Guan Lin using his phone for a moment. The blank look on his face made him seem unapproachable but anyone could see how much he sticks out due to his good looks, the other reason being his bulky leg supporters.
