Day 18: Doing Something Together

Papers and sticky glue covered the entire table while the couple worked on a little craft they randomly found online. They were trying to make cute frames to hang all their stored pictures up on the walls, not wanting them to be all white and boring for when people come to visit them. America had some pieces of paper and a bit of glue stuck on his face while Japan's was nice and clean. Well, almost clean. America looks over at Japan to see how he's doing and then glances back at his. He compares the two creations for a while and realizes that Japan is a lot better at this than he is. Crafting was never really his thing anyway and he didn't think it was that fun. There was no running, no jumping, no lifting, nothing. He liked activities that made him move, not sit around and do something slow and boring.

Japan's the opposite when it comes to activities he enjoys doing. He liked to do simple activities that didn't make him move around that much, especially when his stamina isn't the best when it comes to sports. Crafting relaxes him and it helps him get his mind off of things that stress him out a lot. He looks over in America's direction and sees a small pout formed over his lips as he glances down at his creation. He slightly raises a brow up as he looks back at America's face, slightly tilting his head in confusion. "What's wrong, America?" America hears his boyfriend's soft voice and turns to look at him. He looks back at what he made and lifts it for Japan to see, taking in a deep breath before speaking.

"I fail at crafting, dude." Japan glances at America's small frame and chuckles lightly. He gently pats his boyfriend's back and gives him a sympathetic smile as he responds to him.

"It doesn't look that bad, America. I think it looks really good."

"Yeah, but yours is way better."

"You just have to- Here, let me show you."

Japan slides over next to America's side and demonstrates how he should decorate the frame to make it look better. Once he finished explaining, America looks over the small sheet of stickers that was on his lap and picks up a small sticker, placing it gently on Japan's nose. Japan's eyes crossed a bit as he tries to see the sticker America placed on his nose. America chuckled seeing Japan's reaction and tries to place another sticker on his face when Japan grabbed his wrist and placed it on America's forehead instead. America blinked a few times as he tried to remove the sticker from his face, causing Japan to giggle quietly from the American's failed attempt. He was about to peel it off his skin when Japan placed two more on his cheeks, giggling louder as he sees America trying to remove those as well.

Giving up, America grabbed his sticker sheet and tries to place more stickers on Japan's face. Japan kept moving backward trying his best to keep away from his boyfriend's hand as America keeps trying to place the stickers on him. Eventually, America manages to place the stickers on his face and laughs victoriously as he proudly throws his hands up in the air. Japan kept giggling to himself as he carefully started to remove the stickers from his face, helping America take his off as well. He observes America's face as he lets out a small huff of air through his nose before speaking. "You're such a mess. You really need to clean yourself up after this." America furrowed his brows a bit as he let out a small 'tsk' sound from his lips. How dare does Japan tell such horrible things to a good-looking man like him?

"Babe, no one can stay looking this good while being messy at the same time the way I do." Japan giggled as he nodded his head in agreement, a smile creeping over his face.

"Yes, that I agree." The two carried on with their crafting and kept making more frames until they had one for each picture they have. So far they only made five and they needed to make twenty in total. It was going to be a long day, but at least they'll have fun making them together.
