A/N: and this is how Mike looks btw

Mike's POV

Some long hours passed until it was the fifth period. I was literally running and almost tripped four times. I ran into Caleb and the boy got pissed.

"Hey! What the fuck?! Why don't you watch out little fucker!" Caleb hissed and shoved me into the wall.
I closed my eyes as I felt the impact.

"Look, I'm in a hurry here and I don't wanna cause a fuss..." I said looking directly into Caleb's eyes.

"Oh, so the gaywad doesn't wanna cause a fuss?" He laughed evilly "let's teach him how to walk then!" He pushed me to the floor and I tried to get up but I felt his foot on my back. He kicked my back and then my sides. Some kids came over, causing a crowd around us. I managed to turn around and grabbed his foot, knocking him to the ground. He punched my face one, two, three times. My nose started to bleed and I prayed to god it wasn't broken. I looked terrible, that's for sure.

"STOP! LEAVE HIM ALONE CALEB!" A known voice called for the boy beating me.

"Ooh! Now I see! He's you new lil' boyfriend, isn't he?" Caleb teased the boy I recognized as Chester. I couldn't see his face that well because of my blurred vison due to the involuntary tears welling up my eyes because of the hit I got on my nose, i led my hands to my face, trying to stop the bleeding.

"Why are you always so stupid?! You beat people just 'cause you like to think like you're someone!" Chester screamed stepping towards me. He kneeled and put his soft hand on my cheeks, he rubbed his thumb slightly before he was pulled from me. A boy named Tristan was holding him as he got punched on the stomach over and over again. He was about to throw up when Dave, my other friend, came along with Rob and helped us. Dave helped me to get up while Rob got a hold of Caleb and stopped him from beating Chester, but Tristan was free and didn't waste any time, he kicked Chester in the crotch, making the boy fall on his knees and roll over to his side squirming in pain.

Tristan kicked him in the back and then his face. His nose and eyebrow started to bleed. He cried out. My heart broke. I had promised him I would protect him and there he is, being beaten right in front of me. I couldn't even stand from the pain. I was sitting against the wall and silent tears were running down my face. I couldn't hold a sob that attracted attention to me and Tristan started to laugh.

I looked up at Rob who was still holding a struggling Caleb. Dave was trying to scream for help, but anyone seemed to notice. Maybe they were just ignoring, those students loved a fight.

"The faggot is crying?! Oh, don't cry Shinoda. You're useless anyways." Tristan said laughing along with Caleb and some other kids.

I was crying and it didn't stop. Even tough I tried. But I wasn't crying from the pain. I was crying from frustration for not being able to help Chester. I was crying for not having anyone who actually cared about me. My parents were always out and never seemed to notice when I was in need of help. My mom tried to give me attention but she was so absent that we had almost none familiarity with each other.

I was holding everything up until that moment. I exploded.

"Shut up!" I yelled but no one noticed through the mess the students were doing.

"Mike... i-it's o-ok. I'm alright-t" Chester said through punches and tears as he tried to defend himself with his arms.

"I'm sorry Chaz... I'm so sorry." I cried out.

"It's ok. It's n-not your f-fault." He said with a small smile. It was incredible how he could seem so fragile but actually be so tough.

"Stop Tristan!" I screamed again but anyone gave me attention.
