Chester POV

I was shaking uncontrollably at the sight of my father. Why was he here all of a sudden? Why after all this time?

"GET OUT OF MY WAY!" He shouted and shoved Muto harshly backwards, he was coming to me and Mike stepped in my front. My breath started to pick up and I felt like a panic attack was coming. Donna was looking scared and surprised by the man in her living room. How could he just enter her house like that and on top of everything, hurt her husband. My father shoved Mike to the side and gripped my shirt, bringing me up to his face, he looked me in the eye with a pure angry look and a mischievous, evil smile. He was so vicious.

"NOW YOU WILL SEE WHAT I KEPT FOR YOU, LITTLE FUCKER!" He screamed into my face and I closed my eyes, shaking with fear. I was desperate. He dragged me outside and I could hear Mike's desperate screams. It broke me to see him feeling so helpless.

"HELP HIM! PLEASE, HELP HIM!" Mike screamed raw, I could almost feel the desperate cries leaving his throat. Muto and Donna looked utterly confused and scared by my father's violent behavior.

He smelled like beer and cigarettes, I knew he was drunk and that was what kept me hopeful. I always liked to think that he did what he did because he was drunk, but I knew deep down that it wasn't the truth.

Mike's POV

As soon as Chester's father had a grip on him I panicked. I knew what this man was capable of and I would not let him hurt Chester again. I screamed for help and my dad, although he was confused, followed them outside. Me and my mom rushed out too.

What I saw was awful, I felt sick, I wanted to kill that son of a bitch.

Chester was shrunk on the ground with his hands protecting his head and his legs pushed up against his chest while his father was kicking him over and over again, causing him to scream in agony and pain.

My dad was in shock and terrified but as soon as he recovered his senses he ran to the man attacking Chester and shoved him to the ground.

I ran to Chester and he was crying, dry sobs escaping his throat as he trembled in the grass.

"Oh god, I'm so sorry, Chaz, I couldn't protect you. I'm so sorry." I said crying too and lifted him up in my arms. He rested his head against my shoulder and scooted as close to me as he could.

I entered my house and placed Chester carefully on the couch, the most delicately I could so I wouldn't hurt him. He winced in pain when his back touched the upholstery and I apologized.

I looked at my mom and she was talking on the phone, giving our address - probably to the police and I smiled weakly at her for it.

"Chaz, can I see your back?" I asked softly and he nodded, sitting up with difficulty and whimpering. He bent a little forward and I lifted his thin shirt, revealing the several purple marks, horrendous bruises covering all his back, mostly the lower part of it. I closed my eyes and exhaled a shaky breath.

"How is it?" He asked weakly, already knowing that it looked bad.

"It's... god, Chaz, I'm so sorry." I broke down and he looked at his lap letting tears silently fall as I held him close.

Muto's POV

When I saw that crazy man carrying my son's boyfriend outside so harshly, I knew he wasn't a good person. I was utterly shocked and terrified by such behavior and it was evident in my face.

However, I had to stand up and shove the man out of Chester or else he would be seriously injured. I can't begin to imagine what this man has done to this poor boy, but by his frightened expression, he had been through hell - and Michael knew.
