Aye, new story!
Riv🌺

Tyler was pressed up against Josh's chest as he smiled up at him dreamily. Those favorite chocolate eyes that glazed a hazel honey whenever the sun hit. He pictured the man's face, remembering him, by every physical outlook.

He has always been scared of Joshua's job. Anything could happen to him, he could be gone anyday. It made Tyler make every moment he had with Josh the best, it made him view the taller man differently, always finding something so beautifully strange about him.

Like how a few of his teeth were sharper than others, or that the skin unders his eyes that folded when he smiled, or that fairly light freckles that sprinkled his cheeks. Tyler would always find something different about him, scared to lose him and be forced to bask in only his memory.

He was already on his tippy toes as he looked up at the man, they only smiling, but Josh really had to get to work. Josh leaned his perfectly shaped lips down to softly peck Tyler on his cheek, smiling and giving him a couple pats on his back.

Tyler then unraveled his arms from behind the tallers neck, bending down to his chest, where he fixed Josh's tie, straightening it. He patted the man on his chest, turning to the counter of their kitchen and grabbing a blue lunchbox.

He turned back to Joshua who only smiled lovingly at him, and grabbed the box from his hands, nodding his head at Tyler, replying with, "I will be home in time for dinner." Tyler watched as Josh walked out the door, him not tailing far behind as he leaned against the frame of the door.

He saw Josh step into his emergency vehicle, slowly backing out the driveway and driving off the respectable way to his job. Tyler breathed out heavily. Everything felt so domestic to him, he was in a home he loved with a person he was in love with.

But the thing is, they aren't together.

It has always been Tyler's plan to show Joshua that he sought him more than a roommate, two best friends where one was a caregiver half the time and the other was a giggling mess of a 5-year-old.

He thought of him more than a person that lives in the bedroom from across his door. He wanted to be in Josh's bed, snuggled up against him. But the only time that has ever happened, Tyler was in headspace. He has never been in Josh's bed, with Josh, as a big boy.

When he finished basking under the slowly rising sun, he went back into his home, their home that they share as friends. But Tyler didn't like that, he was going to stay big for when Josh gets home, he is going to do what he's been waiting to do.
