Yoongi smirked at Jimin, who got goosebumps seeing how intense Yoongi's gaze was. His eyes practically showing his hunger.
"Better go home and pack!" Yoongi winked at Jimin. Jimin laughed nervously and looked at Jungkook, he noticed how Jungkook simply looked down, his nose noticbly pink and he fidgeted with his fingers. Jimin felt a weird heaviness in his heart, Jungkook looked so sensitive, so naive, just so vulnerable. But he hadn't suffered enough. Why couldn't Jimin's heart agree to hurt him more? Jungkook deserved every bit of pain, then why did Jimin's heart whisper otherwise?
His heart begged him to reconsider, to take this chance, his heart believed that Jungkook had changed, that he was truly sorry. But what could ever prove it? Would it ever be enough?
Jimin wondered as his eyes locked onto Jungkook's when he looked up. "I can't wait for these next 5 days, Jimin." Yoongi whispered into Jimin's ear as they all left. Jimin's heart raced ___________________________________
Taehyung's car had broken down and since he and Hoseok were the last ones left, he knew he'd have to walk a little and then get a cab.
Hoseok saw Taehyung struggling with his car then getting out and walking away. "Ugh" Hoseok grunted as he felt himself getting an uncontrollable urge to help him.
"Taehyung." Hosoek said making Taehyung turn back in shock. "Ho--" "Come, I'll give you a ride till home." Hoseok said plainly. He couldn't hate Taehyung, he was supposed to but he couldn't. And even if he did, he couldn't let him walk halfway. He still loved him.
Taehyung thought he'd be a fool to refuse Hoseok and so he quickly nodded.
As Hoseok drove, Taehyung looked outside at the beautiful busy streets. He saw how everyone was busy in the hustle bustle of life.
"A penny for your thoughts." He heard Hoseok. "Everyone is busy.." "That's the worst penny I have spent. " Hosoek and Taehyung laughed. "No I mean.. everyone is so occupied. It's like they have no time to pay attention to small things that matter. To people whom they love... Neglect causes misunderstandings that cause a drift and always the question of 'what if' " Taehyung explained. Hoseok breathed out uncomfortably.
Taehyung couldn't hold his words anymore, he had to say it. He didn't have a choice, he didn't know if after this Hoseok will ever spend time alone with him. "I'm sorry, bab-- Hoseok. I know it's too late but I... You should know that I love you and I never meant to hurt you.. it's okay if you don't" Taehyung choked on the last line.
"I do love you, Taehyung.." Hoseok whispered and Taehyung's eyes shot up and he looked at Hoseok.
"But I need time. " Taehyung looked out to avoid his tears from being seen. But soon Jimin's words popped into his head, he let out a sharp breath and said - "Take all the time you need. " Taehyung sobbed softly. "Really? How long could you even wait?" Hoseok said sounding defeated but tried to play it off by smiling. Taehyung fell silent and Hoseok smiled sadly.
Taehyung would move on soon, Hoseok knew. All the questions about waiting and loving were left rhetorical.
"I'd wait forever.. " Taehyung said fighting back his tears.

Jungkook opened the door of the car for Jimin and then drove.
"Wait!" Jimin looked around as they took a separate route. "Where are we going?" Jimin asked surprised. "Just see." Jungkook mumbled softly and kept driving. Jimin looked out as the street lights began turning on and they were driving across to a bridge. "Dongho bridge?" Jimin smiled. "Yes. " Jungkook halted the car and got down to open the car for Jimin. "Let's go. Hurry!" Jungkook stuck his hand out to Jimin. And they ran, Jimin was puzzled at first when the stopped near the sea and looked up at the dark bridge.
"Wh--" "Just wait." Jungkook held his hand and kept looking straight. "Oh my god..." Jimin gasped as the lights turned on suddenly. Jimin had seen the bridge many times as a teen but not with this view. It made him realise how much he loved the sea and the lights. His beautiful memories of his childhood flooded.

"This is where you used cry when you missed home, right?" Jungkook looked at Jimin. "How do you know?" Jimin gasped. "I used to come here too... And I often saw you looking out at the sea as you cried...I used to cry here too, when life was uncertain.. When things seemed to..." Jungkook was lost for words. " Slip away..." Jimin looked at the bridge, and then at Jungkook with tears rolling down his cheeks. He looked away as soon as he saw Jungkook's eyes portraying the exact emotions. Fear and uncertainty.
"Jimin..." Jungkook breathed. "Jungkook.." Jimin hesitantly looked up at him. His heart was pounding and ears blaring. "I love you.." Jungkook said. He cupped Jimin's face and kissed him softly. Their lips moving with eagerness, eyes closed with neediness and breathing nervous yet possessive. Jungkook pulled Jimin by his waist and Jimin stroked back Jungkook's hair. The beautiful lights falling on their faces, cheeks shining brighter as the light highlighted their tears. "Jungkook.." Jimin breathed.
"Promise me, we'll come here the day we cross the bridge of our dark past. " Jungkook sobbed softly. "If we ever do.." Jimin looked down as he whispered these words. Words that he knew, would tear Jungkook apart.
"If we ever do.." Jungkook repeated. Jungkook's heart broke again how would he ever be able to show Jimin how sorry he was. He knew that he didn't deserve a chance but his heart told him that Jimin still did love him and that he would reconsider. That scared Jungkook even more, what if just by his mere stupidity he hurt him again? It would best to let go. There was no point fighting, Jimin would never believe him. Why would anyone?
"Jimin... Please be happy." Jungkook smiled at Jimin but his eyes looked pained and stroked his hair away from his eyes.
Jungkook's tone ran a shiver down Jimin's spine, it was so sincere, so beautiful. It was almost terrifying, it almost felt like it was the last time he was going to see Jungkook.
