Antonia's POV
I help Mrs. Ross pass back papers since no one else volunteered to help. I think no one volunteers to pass back papers because no one knows the names of their classmates. But me, I just know of everyone.
I hand James his paper back, and he just slightly glances at me.
James has been very quiet since my birthday a few weeks ago. I wish he wouldn't because I don't want me shutting him down affecting him.
"He still doesn't talk to you" Gianna whispers once I sit back down.
"I guess not" I shrug.

My parents are finally home from the hospital, and I am forever thankful for that. I missed them so much. Being home without them didn't feel right. Our home was incomplete.
"Hey ma" I walk into the kitchen and see her cutting up some fruits.
I toss the mail on the kitchen counter.
"Where's dad" I ask.
"He should be waking up from his nap right about now" she says right as my dad enters the kitchen.
I hug him and hand him a bowl of fruit my mom has cut. He scrunches up his face in disgust, but I encourage him.
"I'm only doing this because I love you guys" he says as he eats a slice of banana.
He continues to eat the bowl of fruit while looking through the mail. He opens one and starts choking.
"Someone paid for our medical bills" he says while drinking water.
He flips the paper around for my mother to see as well.
Wow, Mr. and Mrs. Dolan do work fast and keep their word.
"Who paid for it" my mom wipes her hands on a cloth before snatching the paper out of his hands.
"An anonymous payer? Who would do such a kind thing" my mom breaks down in tears.
Seeing my mom cry made me cry as well. I can tell she is truly grateful and has a feeling of relief washing over her.
"I wish I knew who paid for it. I would have loved to say thank you" she wipes her tears.
Now she doesn't need to worry about paying for the medical bills. They were so much, over one hundred thousand dollars worth of treatment, surgery, and recovery.
---
I take the kids with me to the Dolan household. I came over to thank Mr. and Mrs. Dolan for paying the medical bills and to take the twins to go see Grayson.
"You both better greet Ethan with a hug as well" I warn them after I knocked on the front door.
Grayson opens the door, and the twins immediately rush to hug him. Ethan appears from behind Grayson, and I give the twins a look. They hug him too but not as happily as they did with Grayson.
