Chapter Thirteen | Visiting and Revelations

Merida and Jack faced their huge joint mirror in the bathroom, not happy on what they're seeing. The redhead had smudged make up all over her face, and her hair all messy - but still not back to her natural crazy hair. While the guy beside her had his hair all ruffled up, and his eyes all bloodshot - obviously didn't get much sleep last night.

Merida let her hair down pinning some on the sides while Jack ruffled his more to make it look attractive even though it's all messy, both of them didn't have the patience to make their selves look better than that. They just picked out casual clothes and quickly went to Jack's uncle's house.

When they were standing on the wooden porch of his house located at some suburban part of London, Jack was the one who rang the doorbell. He was shaking due to uncontrollable excitement in the inside, it was all because he hasn't seen this guy for a few years. The door immediately opened, showing his uncle's undeniably still gorgeous face. It was a big shock that he wasn't even looking old, when he was already in his mid thirties - even newspaper editors conclude that he's something immortal, like a vampire, and nobody would be shocked if he has skin that's cold to the touch. Jack wishes he would be like him, forever young - he just might, since their related. He happily welcomed both inside and they sat quietly in the front room, both dazing off. The two awfully didn't feel and absolutely doesn't look well, it was so obvious because one kept still while the other shook.

"Oh how lovely! Teenagers in my home!" A sweet motherly voice said in front of them, when they looked up, they were greeted by another bunch of curls but these ones were brown.

"Oh my! Am I dreaming right now? Ms. Hermione Granger in front of me!" Merida suddenly squeaked, all sleepiness shook off from her body. "I am so freaking out right now!"

Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! OH. MY. GOSH!

Who wouldn't react like that if they were facing their most  admired person in the whole, wide world? Yes, she sounds childish, but it doesn't hurt to act like it once in a while. Hermione Granger.. Her angel, her hero, her everything. She would do anything to be her best friend, even if it means she has to spend hours or days straightening her hair. She couldn't even believe that she had forgotten that this woman was married to Draco Malfoy. Well, who wouldn't? Nobody even thought that they would end up together after seven long years of teasing and torturing, but after that was only a few months of courtship. She said yes to being his girlfriend and a couple of years, didn't hesitate on being his fiancé. Everybody was there for their wedding and it was something unforgettable.

"You're not, dear." Hermione giggled, somehow seeing herself through this girl when she saw a favorite book that took her forever to find. "It's the real thing."

Hermione kissed her cheek and gave her a tight hug, that's when Merida melted, overfilled with joy. Never in her life did she thought she'd see one of golden trio in real life, even gave up on dreaming she could touch them. But look at her now, she's even in her house - living the dream. And while her head was filled with thoughts, she didn't know she was making weird faces - just like savoring the moment. But she is! She can't predict when she's going to see this perfect lady in front of her again.

She is so squishy. Urg!

"Are you secretly a tomboy, princess?" Jack asked in the sidelines, smirking. It even looked like he got it from his uncle now.
