He walked into the dining room, it was just one long table set up with food and candles, "The new knight has finally arrived!" Broldo yelled out as soon as he saw Jason walking up to the table.

Everyone around begun cheering, Jason smiled and looked around. He saw Broldo, Jackson and a small kid who he had never seen before. Next to them were the twin dwarves, Ferald and Gerald. Jason had met them when Bianca asked them to help her team up against Jason. Probably one of the most painful training sessions so far.

They smiled at him and waved at him, he also saw Captain Mooteg laughing and eating with Bianca sitting next to him. She was wearing the same white robe but her hair was down, she smiled as she looked up at Jason. She got up and made her way to him.

"Well stop being a stranger and say hi." She whispered as she gave him a hug. "Sorry this is just a tad bit overwhelming."

She chuckled, "Come youre sitting at the head of the table." She led him to the seat at the end of the table, while going there he said hi to everyone and noticed that Mirabelle has made it as well. She smiled and waved at him.

Jason sat down and looked down at his food, he hadnt noticed how hungry he actually was until the scent of the food flooded his nose.

"Well Fortes, dig in. Its tradition that the newly made knight gets the first bite." Captain Mooteg says towards him.

"He also gives a speech and then makes a toast." Jackson chimed in. Broldo elbowed him to shut him up.

Jason stood up and grabbed his goblet, "Then let me first say that I am honored to be where I am today, we've all gone through many hardships in our lifes."

Bianca looks down, and so does Mirabelle both understanding what he means, "We've all had to overcome obstacles that tried to impede us from getting here but despite all of that and despite the hard times we live in today. We sit here, in each others company about to dig in to this amazing feast."

"Rahhh!!" the twins yelled.

"A toast." He says.

Everyone raises their goblets, "That we always remain comrades and never leave anyone behind. To loyalty."

"To loyalty." Everyone repeats as they take a sip.

Jason finishes his drink, "Now then lets eat."

The rest of the evening they spend eating and drinking away, Bianca was pretty intoxicated after pretty much her first drink. She spent her time walking around trying to fight everyone. The twins went around eating peoples scraps and running into each other butting heads like two small rams.

"Whos the small kid?" Jason asked Bianca.

She squinted at the small child laughing as she watched the twins go at it once again, "Damn theres a child here!" she smiled at Jason, "I think thats Broldos kid."

Jason didnt know Broldo had a child, he looked at the kid again. She honestly didnt have any similarities to him, the kid had pale skin and had golden hair. Meanwhile Broldo was tan and had jet black hair.

"Her mom *hiccup* passed away like a year ago." Bianca leaned back in her chair almost tipping it over, "She was literally the most beautiful woman *hiccup* in the whole capitol *hiccup* men would come all over Haglethorne to ask her for her hand in marr*hiccup*iage. But nooooooo."

"She was in love with Broldo and they were the most beautiful pair ever."

She looked at Jason, "Jason what if I never find love like that?"

Jasons eyes opened wide, she grabbed his hand and held it tight, "*hiccup* have I told you before Jason you've got some really pretty brown eyes."

"Well not many people usually say that about my eyes." he said feeling the heat rise to the tips of his ears.

Little by little people began leaving for the night, by the end only Jackson, Mirabelle, Bianca and Jason were left. Jackson had spent most of the night talking to Mirabelle.

Bianca got up and walked over to her, "Mirabelle we need to talk."

Mirabelle got up slowly, "Look Bianca Im extremely sorry for what happened, I can't control it whenever it happens."

"What are you?" Bianca said to her with distaste in her voice, Jackson gave Jason an alarming look warning him that something was going to happen. Jason got up and walked over to them.

"Hey guys fun little dinner wasnt it? Come on Bianca lets go walk to the rooms so you can go to sleep." He said as he tried to drag Bianca away.

She shook him off, "Bianca I'm sorry" Mirabelle whispered softly.

Bianca glared at her, "You don't get to be sorry, you're a monster Mirabelle that's what you are. You almost killed Jason and you know damn well you were going to kill me."

Mirabelle had tears coming down her face.

"Alright thats enough. Bianca stop, lets go Im taking you to your room." Jason said.

"Jason stop! Stop defending her, gods she could've killed you!" she yelled. She looked at him, but his eyes showed no anger towards Mirabelle but to her.

"Fine. Forget this shit. Fuck all of you, Im the bad guy here." She turned around and stormed out.

Mirabelle sat down and began sobbing, "Hey Jackson"

"I got her, go make sure Bianca doesnt kill anyone." He said.

Jason nodded and went after her.

He chased her to the team room and followed her inside.

Bianca storms into the team room with Jason at her tail, "Bianca you are acting like a child and youre drunk! That was completely unnecessary what you said to her out there!" Jason yelled at her, she turned around and glared at him, "She is a menace to us and you're treating her like if what she did to us never happened! Jason she threw you into a shack, she could've killed you! And trust me she was prepared to kill me!"

"No! Bianca that wasn't her and I refuse to believe that Mirabelle would do stuff like that. Bianca she needs our help we are the only people she can trust, and we need to trust her."

"Stop defending her!" Bianca tried to punch him but he moved aside and she fell to the ground and began sobbing, "Why do you defend her this much, do you really like her that much that you're willing to forget what she did to us."

Jason didn't know what to do at this point, he just needed to take her to her room so she can go to sleep already. "I'm not forgetting what she did Bianca, I'm giving her a second chance. Everyone here deserves a second chance." He sat down in front of her and sighed, "She's not a menace to us, she's our friend Bianca. You're my friend." She looked up at him with tears still rolling down her face.

He chuckled, he grabs the sleeve of his shirt and wipes the tears of her face, "Stop crying you, it hides that ferocity you always have in you eyes."

She smiled halfheartedly, "Shut up you."

She looked down and sighed, "I like her you know, she's like the little sister I never had but when she attacked me she started saying things that I didn't want to remember."

"It wasn't her Bianca, it was Azadle." She sat up and leaned against him, "You're right I should give her a chance I'll go apologize right now." She started to get up but Jason pulled her back down and she fell into his arms.

"You're in no condition to be moving around, it can wait for tomorrow. Come you'll sleep here tonight."

She looked up at him, her cheeks red. "Jason no no no, I mean I can't say I don't feel a certain way towards you because well that would be a lie but we're strictly teammates." She said all flustered and embarrassed.

Jason laughed, "Calm down." He pointed towards the beds lined up against the walls, "Sleep for a bit and then head to your room. I'll be sitting here at the table making sure you dont die on us."

She tried getting up, Jason got up and helped her. He put her arm around his neck and walked her over to the bed, "Damn it Jason I can walk, I didnt drink *hiccup* that much."

He put her down on the bed, "Yeah yeah Bianca whatever you say." She laid down and placed her head on the pillow.

"You know Jason, I'm glad I got stuck with you." She grabbed his hand and looked him in the eyes, Jason squeezed her hand and smiled back.

"Go to sleep." He said.

She closed her eyes and quickly fell to sleep.

Jason got up and grabbed a blanket from one of the other beds and covered her up. He smiled, seeing her sleep it seemed like he was seeing her for the first time. One of the only times she didn't have the permanent frown on her face, he leaned in close. He saw the small ridges on her eyebrows that have etched itself into her face from all the angry looks she gave everyone, the small scars on her face beginning to heal, her rosy cheeks and her pink lips.

He smiled, he walked over to the table and sat down. He looked down at his hand, it was this mark that brought him to where he is right now. He chuckled, maybe he should thank Kaldrago for it.
