"joey!" i yelled as he shot the guy, straight in the head leaving his lifeless body to bleed out on my kitchen floor.

i pulled kashius close to me as he let out cry's from the previous loud gunshots, joey fell to the floor and grabbed his phone with his bloody hand dialing 911.

cops flooded the house as the corridor appeared to take the body of what was identified as 'justin blake', isn't that tyler's best friend?

"joey!" I called out for him as he was talking to the cops, he turned around and ran towards me

"t-the guy you shot isn't just any guy, he's tyler's best friend" i said, joey's face stayed the same as if he knew something

"y/n, tyler and lexi aren't in prison, and they were never killed from that death penalty. they were able to pay there way out of that death penalty which i'm confused about because you can't pay your way out of a death penalty and soon after they escaped. nobody knows how or where they are which is why we're in deep water" he said as he held my hand

"oh my god" i covered my mouth as i held kashius, "joey we need to leave some where else, out of new york" i said and he shook his head

"we cant leave new york because we don't even know where they are, they could be anywhere" he said,

"we can't stay here!" i whisper yelled as i didn't wanna catch the polices attention.

"listen, how about we leave kashius with my parents for a couple of days while we sort this all out-"

"-no joey, i'm not leaving kashius with anybody, nobody knows what tyler or lexi might be planning! they could come after kashius or maybe even me which is why we need to go somewhere safe and far away from this place."

he rubbed his temples and sighed looking at me with his piercing hazel eyes which were shining in the bright sun,

"how about this, we stay here for a couple of days and do our normal routine, i go back to work and you come along with kashius so you don't have to stay home alone" he suggested making me sigh

"fine, but i'm not staying or sleeping in this house until we have security all over the perimeter of our home. i want kashius to be safe" i said and he nodded as he hugged me.

"yes mom we're fine, it was just a little home invasion and i killed the guy" joey rubbed his face as he was on the phone with his mom.

"yeah her and kash are gonna be coming with me tomorrow- mom don't be getting all excited about seeing your grandson at work bc this is only for awhile until we sort everything out" he laughed into the phone

"alright alright, love you too, bye" he sighed and walked over to the fridge and grabbed a water bottle.

he came over to the living room and sat down next to me.
