My Ghoul (Kaneki x Reader x Ayato)[EDITING]

Bound - Chapter 2 - 1

It had been a few days after the whole fiasco of Ayato and the now dead cousin. (Name) was ledt to her own devices with only Ayato seemingly showing his care. She felt betrayed by both her mind and her heart. The passionate heated moments of her with Kaneki seem to be a blur in her tormented mind. She had given up on eating and would often be curled in her bed, crying and weeping as Ayato kept feeding her lies over lies. In a few hours she would be his wife. His forever...

Sometimes she felt as if life isn't meaningful without Kaneki. But he was already with Touka. And they will be parents soon. It wasn't in her heart to destroy a relationship. She'd rather leave than let an innocent child suffer because of her selfish feelings.

The young woman stands up from her bed and stares at the porcelain dress embroidered with pearls and jewels that glints under the fake luminescent light. She walks towards the window and gazes at the city below. The buzzing noises could be faintly heard as the clock kept ticking. Reminding her of what today was and what each ticks means of her stripped freedom.

She opens the veranda door and walks out to the chilling breeze of Tokyo. It had snowed the day before and her light clad outfit sure wasn't helpful. She was wearing nothing but a satin sleeping gown with her hair in a messy bun designed with flower jewels. She already had been styled prior the night before due to her mother's incessant demands for her daughter to be perfect on her wedding day.

The dark blue and white roses sat ontop of the rooms coffee table, ready to be held by the future bride.

A knock was then heard taking the young woman out of her thoughts,

"(Name) darling? Can you hear me? We have to get you in your dress now."

Then the clock finally buzzed, the alarm going off. Her freedom's final moments has gone to an end.

Author's Note:

This is your lazy author finally posting this long overdue chapter that will be the start of book 2. Author-san was too busy being a Fate fan and juggling studies. But now I have found the motivation to write. But this book sadly ends the Kaneki romance. I kniw some of you loves Kaneki but I just see it impossible with what Re. had done and made Kaneki and Touka canon. I hope you forgive me. But there is someone who will be taking Kaneki's place. Our little cookie. So I hope you enjoy this short prologue of book 2. ^-^
