Ryan refused to play Truth or Dare anymore.

Even when Brendon suggested it, he shot it down. Spencer usually rolled his eyes and exchanged a smirk with Jon. They both knew full well why Ryan refused to play, and it had very little to do with Brendon asking impertinent questions.

He also insisted that they get hotel rooms at least one room apart when they were able to stay in them.

Spencer didn't particularly care. Ryan could be as anal as he wanted about his friend's sex life. Spencer never mentioned anything about why Ryan was so uptight about it, just let it go and crawled into Jon's bunk after Ryan had fallen asleep, his light snores permeating the bunk area.

When the curtain shifted, Jon turned his head. He was awake still. The swaying bus beneath him hadn't hit quite the rhythm to put him to sleep yet. Upon seeing Spencer, he scooted over as much as he could in the cramped space.

Spencer didn't hesitate to crawl inside, settling down more on top of Jon than anything. There wasn't really anywhere else to go.

"Hey," he whispered, letting the curtain fall shut behind him. His chest was pressed to Jon's comfortably, and his hand carded through Jon's hair slowly.

"Hey," Jon whispered back, finding Spencer's mouth in the darkness for a kiss. Sinking back into the mattress, he sighed contently.

"So," Spencer started after a minute, and Jon sensed the slight change. He couldn't see Spencer, but he reached up to run his hand up his side, coming to rest warmly at the small of his back.

"So," Jon echoed, feeling Spencer's nose bump against his. He was close.

"Truth or Dare has been banned."

Smiling, Jon nodded a little. "I guess Ryan doesn't like when we play."

He could feel more than see Spencer's soft smile. Moving his hand slowly, he began to trace small circles on the small of his back, slipping under the worn tee shirt Spencer was wearing.

"I like when we play."

Jon smiled, feeling the kiss Spencer pressed just below his ear. "Yeah? Since it turned out so well last time."

"I think it did," Spencer murmured. "And if I recall correctly, you still owe me."

"Yeah?" Jon shifted, hand tightening over Spencer's back and pulling him against him harder. Spencer didn't make any noise, but Jon felt the way his fingers dug into his arms for a second.

"Yeah," Spencer echoed, voice quiet but firm.

"Hey, Spencer," Jon whispered, searching for Spencer's mouth in the dark. He didn't quite find it as Spencer pulled back just out of reach. "Truth or dare?"

Spencer paused thoughtfully. "Hmm, I don't know which to choose."

"Choose dare."

Spencer grinned above him, and leaned down, lips brushing against the side of Jon's mouth teasingly.
