chapter 10

Finns POV

She tried to kill herself. Our Megan, my bestfriend. She actually tried to kill herself and leave us all behind. I knew she was having a hard time at school but I didn't know it was affecting her that badly. She walked around alone but I didn't know it would drive her to committing suicide. I all of a sudden feel guilty for ignoring her at school, if I had just spoken to her and tried to fix things then none of this would've happened, I blame myself. I was the stubborn one trying to prove myself wrong, I knew I needed her but I didn't want to need her because I was mad at her but I knew I couldn't hate her for long. Maybe it's too late but I can't be, I just hope she's going to be okay.

I held Megan's nearly lifeless and bloody body in my arms as I cried. I couldn't fully take in what's happened, it's all too much.

"What did you do this Megan? You could've spoken to us, I can't believe you tried to leave us!" I cried. Then the paramedics arrived soon after. One of the paramedics who was a young woman who had short blonde hair.

"What happened to her?" She asked. She knew exactly what happened but I guess she still had to ask.

"S-she tried to k-kill herself!" I cried. She nodded her head in understanding and didn't ask anything else. I looked over and saw Matt and Jake crying, they could've believe this just as much I me, we never really expected it. Then I was Megan's mum, don't even get me started on her, she was sitting on the ground sobbing her hear heart out, she was completely broken.

"Can I take her from you? We need to get her to hospital as quickly as possible!" She said. I nodded and carefully handed her over. They placed her on the gurney and checked her quickly over.

"Only one person can ride in the ambulance with her!" The male paramedic announced. She all looked over at Megan's mum, as much as all 3 of us want to go with Megan, we know that Megan's mum should.

"Mrs P, you go with her!" Jake said. She looked up at us with teary eyes and smiled gratefully. She nodded, stood up and walked outside with Megan and the paramedics.

"W-will you boys c-come to t-the hospital?" She asked shakily as the paramedics carefully put Megan in the ambulance.

"Of course we will, we'll be right behind!" I said. She nodded and stepped inside the ambulance and clutched onto Megan's hand tightly. She looked at her broken daughter and started to cry again. The paramedics closed the door then drove off quickly to the hospital.

"We should go too!" Matt said.

"Yeah, we can't leave Mrs P by herself!" I said. We then all jumped into Jakes car and zoomed off to the hospital. I dread going to hospitals especially when it's to see my bestfriend who tried to commit suicide. This is all so messed up.

Jake drove super quickly to the hospital, he maybe have drove a red light but he had reasons so none of us were really bothered. Once we arrived, Jake parked the car, we jumped out and ran into the hospital quickly.

We ran up to the desk and approached a young girl who looked to be in her 20s with long black hair.

"We're here to see Megan Preciado!" I demanded desperately. She looked up at us and gave us a sympathetic look. Nothing about this place is good and no one comes here for a good reason so she knew it was bad. She clicked a few things and typed away.

"She's hasn't been assigned a room yet but if you go into the waiting room, a member of staff will notify you when she's stable and ready for visitors!" She explains politely.

"T-thankyou!" I said and we all walked over to the waiting room. As I opened the door we saw Mrs P sitting all alone crying her eyes while clutching onto her phone tightly.
