*one week later*
School was over, i will get my results in a month. Luke's out of the hospital finally. There was a party for the whole school today. A beach party. So i obviously will see Luke there. And Jake. So not ready. I don't even know what to tell him. We haven't talked since forever. I spent my day alone at home. Didn't have anything to do. My mom and i cooked lunch and we ate. My dad went back to his work after that and my mom stayed to finish some things at home. I helped her of course. Then i took a nap. I woke up to my phone ringing. It was Caitlyn. "Hey","hi","i just wanted to make sure you're coming tonight","yes i am","great! See you there then","see you there" and i hung up. Few hours later, it was time to go. I wore a pink crop top with ripped shorts and my black converse. Then i took my swim suit in case we were gonna swim. I said goodbye to my mom and drove there. I arrived in 15 minutes. It wasn't that far away. I payed for myself and entered the beach. It was so amazing, everybody was there, even my bullies and to my big surprise they all came to me smiling and put on my head a flower crown just like everybody else and took me to dance. I danced and had fun until i saw Jake. He was looking at me smiling. Then he walked to me . "Hey","i told you to not talk to me","i can't. I missed you." He leaned forward to kiss me but i pushed him away. "I'm sorry but i got over you, you're late, should've gave me attention before." Then i went back to dance. He left me, i didn't. He didn't love me enough, but i did. He lost me. I suddenly noticed Caitlyn. I walked and talked to her. Then everyone has stopped dancing as they saw Luke and went to see how he's doing. After talking to everybody he came to me. "How are you feeling?","pretty okay","does it still hurts?","um no not really but i still feel a bit dizzy sometimes","i'm sorry..","why?","because it's all my fault, like if i was the one to go there i would be the one who got hit by a car.","no don't ever say that, it's not your fault it just happened, actually i was the wrong one cause i should've looked left and right before walking but it's okay, things happen, the most important thing is i'm here with you." He said smiling so i smiled back but it like a nervous smile. "Do you wanna dance?","sure." He held my hand and we went on the dance floor. Suddenly the song changes and it becomes a slow one. He put his hands on my waist, pulled me in, and we were so close that i could feel his breath, my heart was pounding, it was magical. Then it was time to go. I said goodbye to everyone and went out to my car with Luke. "It was an amazing night","indeed","so i gotta go now","wait, remember when i told you we should celebrate your birthday again?","yeah","what about tomorrow? Are you free?","sure i don't have anything","okay then goodnight." And he kissed me on the cheek. I went home and slept. I was so exhausted.
