Later on we went back to the car. I was starving and my belly did some noises so Luke took the opportunity to tease me AGAIN. "Someone's hungry","yeah yeah it's me","oh really i thought it was me." I gave him the "you're not funny" look and he said in a baby voice to my belly "so baby bird, what do you wanna eat huh?" Then he laughed. "You look so retarted." But he ignored me and threw a "oh boy" loudly. We were stuck in a traffic. "'Noooooooooooooooooooo i'm hungry","so am i","let's wait a little." *1 hour later* "okay damn it i'm walking","no Leah wait","but i am so hungry." He drove somewhere near to park the car. "Stay here, listen to this, and i'll be back later." He gave my one of my favourite albums: "Goodbye Lullaby" by Avril Lavigne. As i listened to it i stared at the window beside me. The song "I Love You" was on now and i suddenly felt my heart beat loudly. I was obviously thinking of Luke. I caught myself smiling awkwardly at a man in the car so i turned my head away. Then i saw Luke coming with mc donald's bags in his hands. He was walking but a car was really and it hit him. It happened in front of my eyes. The world froze. I couldn't breathe anymore. I saw people rushing toward him. My heart stopped beating suddenly. My view was blur because of my eyes in tears. "Somebody call 911!" I heard. People took him to the hospital and i was still in the car. As they were holding him up to put him in the car, i stepped out of his and started screaming. I was so shocked. They ran to me and held me so i could calm down but i couldn't. It's like my world was falling apart. Today's my birthday i want it to be a happy day not the day my bestfriend dies! They walked to another car and took me to him, to the hospital. When i finally calmed down a little i called Chris and Alex and my mom to tell her about what happened. The two boys came and hugged me so tight as i cried again. My mom came after with Luke's parents and his little sister Kayleigh. Her mom was so scared. She saw her son and cried. His dad was upset, he was weak, for the first time in my life i see him this weak. His sister wasn't okay at all. She had trouble breathing so she couldn't breathe anymore and didn't tell us about it. She was turning blue. If my mom didn't see her she would be dead now. The nurse there helped her. We all sat in the waiting room, waiting for the doctor to come out and tell us about him. It was late, Chris and Alex went back home, Kayleigh was sleeping on her dad's arm, Luke's mom Lilly was still shocked and my mom was there recomforting her. Suddenly i see a shadow on the wall in front of me. Then i saw a person. And i knew who it was.
