Nice",Toni said ."are you serious Cheryl nice I have nothing to be nice about ;if you want to go there",Toni said angrily."what do you mean" Cheryl asked. "for staters I have to get up everyday worrying about who's place can I go to tonight.second I come here where I'm constantly mocked for being a serpent Southside trash if you will and is blamed for literally  everything!!then there's you"."Me"Cheryl said."no I didn't mean it",Toni said not trying get into something."no get on with it you clearly feel something go ahead let it out"Cheryl said trying to stand her ground but instantly regretted it.
Which just made Toni even more upset."fine let's start with the fact I come here and your walking around in your slutty outfits and not caring who looks at you ,you know how many things I hear about you a day.we can't hold hands in public or even kiss cause your afraid of your mom so we meet at night,in the middle of the night like come on.or  better yet we're locked up in your room all day and when I am out with you I can't wear my serpent jacket cause I'm to afraid about what people might say about you".Toni said then gave in a big breath for air.

"Go ahead your turn " Toni said .what the hell cheryl said clearly pissed about what Toni said because she knows that everything that's wrong with there relationship is because of Cheryl's mother or is it?.Toni told her there must be something she hates about her something that she wants to get off her chest.
Cheryl stood up so pissed that she let it all out ."okay you want me to be mean well let me just say I've been doing it my whole life .lets maybe start with the fact that when your out doing you "serpent" business it kills me that you might get hurt every time your with them but I respect your choice above everything . You know I would want to go on a date with you and actually kiss you and hold hands and not make it look like we're friends. and I don't care what you wear but you don't think I don't know how these boys look at you like your fresh meat something new for them.and don't get me started on sweet pea he's clearly in love with you and when you guys first started going here I over heard him talking saying that you don't settle that you move on and leave peoples hearts broken ".Cheryl said almost in tears.
"So what are you saying Cheryl?",Toni asked.I don't want you to be in the serpents she said not saying what she wanted to say." And you and I both know I can't do that" Toni said."I know"Cheryl said still hyped from the auguring."so what ",Cheryl said."I don't know",Toni replied . "Toni this sneaking around isn't helping anybody " Cheryl exclaimed.Toni got up a grabbed her bag and continued talking to Cheryl look you don't know me I'm dangerous I break rules I've been in jail more times than I can count and that's just the thing you don't know what I do on a daily and try to keep a smile on my face for you and that's -that's just not me and you don't know me"."I loved you "Cheryl said under her breath."loved" Toni said with a tear coming down her face.cheryl got up keeping her head held high "we're done, okay ,you don't have to worry about sneaking around anymore ".Cheryl walked back in the school meaner that before and wasn't in the mood for any bullshit today.

Toni couldn't drive like this she was shacking so she called sweet pea to pick her up.he pulled up and came off of his motorcycle and Toni ran in his arms he hugged her and told her she'd be okay and kissed her head .cheryl watched from the classroom window and she watched as Toni got on his motorcycle hugged his waist and drove away.
