Chapter 2:controlled

Cheryl's pov:

I really tried not to seem to invested in the situation.i didn't want for anyone to think I actually cared so I made it up as I was there just for the drama .it all happened really quickly like 7 minutes tops!All I honestly remember was them walking in the janitors closet which me,Kevin,veronica,Archie,and Betty soon followed .and then I remember Toni walking out a walking down the hall looking past me .and then jughead follows her like he was her father and she just had been found kissing someone in her room.i couldn't help but wonder what she did!! Then I saw jughead grab her harm and she look terrified.But I couldn't do anything I hated it, it was like this all the time.
Then Archie walked up and she was gone by the time any of them answered that questions Archie and Betty laid on them.after that I'm not sure what happened jughead walked out the door from which he came in.
Everyone was kinda on edge still but I was lost in my own thoughts . Veronica then shook my shoulder asking if I wanted to walk to class with her but I lied and told her I had to go do something in the office .she was like alright and walked off.
So I turned the corner and ran to see if Toni was in class which she wasn't.i then looked out the window across from the parking lot and saw that her motorcycle was still there .and then I thought where do I go when I don't want to be bothered?i then made my way to the back of the school.and opened the door.
I found her sitting there smoking . I know i know but Toni was always careful when she drank or did any type of drug so I never seen her do anything but drink a beer here and there. I walked over to her and sat on the step she was sitting on ,pretending not to be shocked by they smoke.
"I didn't know you smoked ",I said ." You and a lot of people "don't know me",she said mocking my words ."wow" i said amazed at how rude she was. the thing about this was ,everyone already knew Toni was a badass by the way she acted but this was like the first time she was really acting it.smoking on school property are you kidding she was begging to be thrown in jail.

"You do realize the amount of trouble you could be in for smoking on school property?",Cheryl said ."it's your school not mine ",she said."Toni what's up I've never seen you like this;your usually more n-nice",Cheryl said a bit worried about what Toni may say back.Toni gave me a look that indicated that I was in for it.
