Chapter 2: Nothing but Cold Guy

Author's POV

I'll introduce the character of Keoff muna... mamaya na lang yung POV nya. Joseph Keoff Advincula, 15 years old and having his studies at Hillton High. Mayaman sila Keoff. Pero sa bayan lang sila nakatira at hindi sa siyudad. Dun kasi gusto ng kanyang ina, peaceful and quiet. Di katulad sa siyudad, maingay at maraming sasakyan na may mababaho at maiitim na usok.

Hindi sya palasmile sa ibang tao, pero sa pamilya nya, ibang iba ang identity nya. Dito, palaging malapad ang mga ngiti nya at lagi ring nakatawa. He have friends rin pero hindi masyadong madami. Sakto lang. He spends his vacant time mostly in studying and playing video games. Mahilig din sya mag bike around their mansion's park- OO, MAY PARK SA LOOB MISMO NG MANSION NILA. Pero hindi sya lumalabas ng bahay lalo na kapag weekends.

Hindi sa takot sa init o ano si Keoff, he just feel staying at home. Palagi nyang sinasabi sa sarili na "I don't hang out with other strangers outside." Or he sometimes say its better to study rather than hanging out with someone. But he is joyful when it comes to his seven year old sister. Keoff is very lovable when it comes to family; his attitude  which his parents became proud of.

But on Keoff's point of view, he have things on his mind. Be it funny, serious or sad things. Yep, he laughs, cries and being serious on his mind. ONLY ON HIS MIND. But he don't show it to other people that surrounds him. And he's not fond of sharing this to anyone except his family and friends. He does not express his emotions to a person he doesn't know. In short, he is SECRETIVE. Remember that.

Keoff's POV

"Kuya kuya!!!" My little sister called me.

"Yes my princess?" I asked her. Princess ko sya eh. My only princess...

"Can we play??? Pleeeeeaaaase..." Tanong nya at nagpuppy eyes sya sa akin. Hayyy alam talaga ng kapatid ko kung ano weakness ko... ang PUPPY EYES... :-(

I let out a sigh of defeat bago nagnod.

"Yey! Goodieeeee!!!" Tuwang tuwa sya habang tumatalon talon sa ere.

"Hey, hey... slow down. Pero first, you wait Kuya ah... He have to finish his assignments first then after that, we can play. How was that?" Sabi ko at tumango naman sya.

"Okay Kuya! I will wait for you even it'll took you thousands of times to finish that..." nakangiting sabi nya at nag thumbs up pa. Hay naku etong kapatid kong 'to. Sobrang bait at patient. Kaya mahal ko 'to eh. She's my only sibling lang kasi.

"Wow... thousands of times? It will take forever if you'll say 'thousands of times' my princess... dapat, you say 'how long I will gonna finish it'." Sabi ko at napakamot sya sa ulo.

Minsan, sobrang natutuwa ako sa kapatid ko. She's so bubbly, funny and very cute-- let me rephrase that. She's so bubbly, funny and very pretty. She's kinda like our mother. Well, alot like her.

Ayun, tinapos ko na yung mga assignments ko para makalaro na si Sophie. Ayaw naman nyang maglaro sa ibang bata kasi natatakot sya. May mga batang bullies rin kasi. Kaya dito na lang sya naglalaro sa bahay.

"I'm done my princess... ngayon, pwede na tayong maglaro..." nakangiti kong sabi sa kanya.

"Yey... ba^ba na tayowww Kuya." Bigla akong natawa kay Sophie.

Panu ba naman eh, slang sya pagdating sa tagalog. Sa aming dalawa, mas bihasa akong magsalita ng tagalog kesa sa kanya. Pinanganak si Sophie sa States at ako naman, well... dito lang... hahaha wala eh... local baby lang ako. De biro lang, mas nagtagal ako dito kesa kay Sophie. Nung last month lang ata sya dumating dito kasama si Tita Aubrey, ang kapatid ni Daddy at neighboor din namin sa states.
