"This is such a tough hill," Yuzu remarks tiredly, wiping sweat from her forehead.
We were walking up a steep hill, towards Mrs. Kurosaki's grave. The last time I was here the walk felt like it took forever, but since I have been working out this was a cake walk. Training with Tatsuki, plus helping Ichigo fight hollows, I noticed my endurance has increased dramatically. The muscle in my legs had tighten, and I was able to run a hour straight without stopping,
"Don't worry Yuzu, just keep a steady pace," I encourage her. "I'll walk with you if you want."
"OK!" she nods with a smile, walking at my side.
"Do your best Yuzu!" Mr. K shouts from behind.
"Ignore him," Karin says, walking at a steady pace ahead of us. "Encourage people like that and it will never end."
Which was true, but that wasn't going to stop Mr. K insatiable hunger for attention.
"Even if you don't look, I won't stop!" Mr. K yells, running up the hill and sliding past Yuzu with a gush of wind that made her dress fly up. "What do we have here? Polka dot panties I see!"
"Kyaa!" Yuzu screams, pushing down her dress.
"Scram to the end of the earth old man!" Karin quips, kicking her father back down the hill. "Start from the bottom now old man!"
"Nice kick Karin," I praise her as we clap hands watching the man fall all the way back towards where we started. He looked like a tire wheel going down the hill, only his face was the grip being scrapped.
"Hey, there is someone here," Yuzu says, pointing in front of the burial gates.
I turn to see Rukia by the gate in a sundress and hat, waving happily at us. I sighed, didn't she know we were at a grave site, she did not have to look so happy.
"Why is she hear!" Ichigo shouts in terror.
"You know her brother?" Yuzu ask incredulously.
"I don't know that person! I utterly completely don't!" Ichigo says, waving his sweaty hands. He's never was a good lair.
"You sure, she looks familiar....." Karin trails off, not overly convinced.
Ichigo slaps his forehead. "I remember now!" he remarks loudly and out of character, which made him sound even more suspicious. "She's a classmate from our middle school days! We should go and talk to her since we are feeling so nostalgic! Right Whitney!"
"Nope, you can talk to her alone," I remark carelessly. I already knew what was going to be said, and there was no point of me being there in the way.
"I trust you two will behave," I finish with a devious smirk, knowing full well at what I was hinting. Ichigo's eye twitched.
"I hate you," Ichigo whispers before taking off and grabbing Rukia dragging her off towards the forest.
Whitney 11, Ichigo 9.
I missed my scoreboard.
"Hee-hee," Karin chuckles, rubbing her chin in thought.
"What's with the laugh?" Yuzu questions her twin.
"Nothing. It just seems like our brother is at that age," Karin says. "I think it is time we let our brother go."
Yuzu looks on and just nodded. "Maybe you'll right, I just thought Whitney would be more jealous."
"Why would you think that?" I ask with full eyes.
"Don't you and my brother have a thing going?" Yuzu says matter-of-fact..
