A/N SET IN YEAR 6 Hermione's P.O.V Harry came up to the Gryffindor Common Room at a quarter to seven in the morning, just before breakfast. His face was flushed. "Harry, where were you?" I asked. "Oh, I... um- I was just talking to ehh Madam Pomfrey. Yeah, I was just checking if Ginny was feeling better. She fell off her broom in Quidditch." I squint at him. It's easy to know when he lies. "And who's tie is that, Harry?" I ask he glanced at his tie and blushes. It's a Slytherin tie. "Ah, that would be... Blaise's. Ron dared us to swap ties and see if anyone would notice. You're so smart, Hermione! Well done." He faked a smile. "I heard my name?" a voice came from the stairs. It was Ron. "Yes, actually," I tell him. "Mister Harry Potter here says you dared him to swap ties with Blaise. Is that right?" "I what?" Ron asked. I smirk. "So, tell us Harry. Who's tie is that? Accidentally pick it up while you were having some fun with... Pansy?" I asked. He had turned beetroot red. "Pansy!? What? Never!" he protested. "Who, then?" Ron inquired. Harry was saved from answering when there was a knock at the entrance. I went to open it and revealed a messy-haired, tired-looking Draco Malfoy. He looked wearily at me. "Any chance Potter came in here?" he yawned. He looked around me and saw Harry. "Babe, where were you? I thought we said we'd just skip breakfast?" he demanded. Ron and I looked from Harry to Draco to Harry again. Harry looked terrified. "I...um-I gu- sorry I forgot?" he stuttered. He gave me and Ron a sheepish grin and left the room with Draco, leaving us staring in their wake.
