(Y/A) = Your Age

Wonder Woman / Diana :

You and Diana had been working together for a while at that point, and, being in France, you had the habit of greeting each other by 'la bise', which basically meant that you did that subtle gesture during which your cheeks would touch and you'd make a kissing sound. That was what happened on a daily basis.

Now, that day, things were a bit different. You see, you and Diana were just about to leave the office when your boss came out of nowhere and literally begged you to work on a statue that would be seen by a potential buyer the next day. To be fair, in one night, you wouldn't be able to do much work, even with the two of you trying to work full speed, but if the buyer saw your work and what you could do, it might be a very good thing for the museum.

That was the first night you spent with Diana. Yup, not as exciting as it sounds, is it. You nearly didn't exchange a word all night, simply trying to stay awake and to be efficient. In the morning, you looked like a walking corpse, and even Diana had lost a bit of her legendary elegance. Your boss arrived with the man who would maybe buy the statue, and the two of you left to grab a coffee, though all you wanted to do was to sleep. You still needed to be awake long enough to make it back to your flat.

'Well, that was a fun night,' Diana commented with a smile. You glanced at her and chuckled. You liked her enthusiasm, but still...

'You and I really don't have the same definition of a fun night.'

'You don't think it's fun spending the night with me?'

She had asked the question perfectly innocently, and you nearly choked with the sip of coffee you had just taken. You blushed and didn't answer.

'Well, I'm gonna get going,' Diana said. She kissed you gently on the cheek. A real kiss, not a kiss in the air. 'Bye!'

It took you quite some time to be able to formulate an articulate thought again.

Batman / Bruce :

It had been a very stressful evening. Not particularly for you, because you didn't care much about... Well, about most stuff from the high society's life. However, that night in particular, even you were perfectly capable to tell just how much tension there was in the air. Anyone with a society was here, trying to get in touch with someone who was apparently a very important billionaire.

You had very clearly been invited to this party to be there and look pretty, and you were not having it. After you nearly broke a man's finger - always go for the fingers, you don't need that much strength to make it hurt like hell -, people started to stop approaching you, and you grew bored quickly. When Bruce came to you and offered to give you a ride home, you jumped on the occasion.

'So,' you asked in the car, 'did you manage to sell a lot of... stuff?'

'You know,' he said with false arrogance, 'it's not like I need it.'

You laughed. 'Ugh, right, cause money is soooo overrated, says the millionaire.'

He smiled, and there was a short silence, before he added 'Tony and I aren't exactly... friends.' He'd pronounced the last word with utter disgust, and you rose an eyebrow. You were starting to notice just how tense he was, and you understood that the evening might have been harder for him than you'd have thought. The two of you talked a bit. You understood the men had gone to the same school, and that they hated each other ever since.
