Derek POV

I was still staring at my phone thinking back to the conversation I've just had with the Sheriff, when the pack walked into the loft, when they all started sitting down so before they got comfy I started talking "there is no point sitting down, were not staying here" after I had finished, they all looked at me "why what's going on" Scott questioned slightly glaring at me "I received a call from the Sheriff before you all came in and he wants everyone over there" I replied glaring back at him "do you think it's something about Stiles" Isaac asked looking hopeful but also nervous when he looked at me, I felt a stabbing pain when I heard his name, when the pack all graduated high school I was finally going to ask Stiles to be my mate now that he was age, but Braeden got in the way and I lost him, since then he hasn't been back, the moment the pack found out they were furious at me but after I explained to them what I had planned for that night they stopped giving me death glares and Isaac started staying with me again -he moved in with Scott- but even now five years later Scott still hasn't forgiven me, it doesn't help that Braeden has been staying close to the pack especially me, so he might of toned down the glares at me but he hates her and continues to treat her like shit

Normally I wouldn't let that happen to someone in my pack but I couldn't help but agree with him, I mean if it wasn't for her I would have my mate beside me and it hurts both my wolf and me, I could be honest to myself that I miss him so much and I don't know how long I can cope with it anymore "Derek" I shook my head and looked at the pack, they were looking at me worriedly, I shrugged my shoulders not interested in telling them how I feel "so I think we should go to his house, since he should be home from work by now" I stated walking out the door, I didn't need to turn around to know they were following because they weren't actually been quiet about it, when I got to my car I noticed only Isaac, Erica and Boyd were getting in and within seconds we were on our way "Derek if he is coming home, are you going to talk to him" Isaac whispered softly, I didn't answer but I tightened my hands on the wheel "I want to know why that bitch is still hanging around the pack" Erica snarled as she texted on her phone "from what I've noticed of her behaviour, I think she's waiting for Derek" Boyd firmly said and when I looked at him he looked disgusted at the thought and so was I

"Why the hell is she waiting on Derek for, we all know he can't stand her" Erica scoffed while rolling her eyes but Boyd carried on "because she's jealous, Stiles was the one we all went to when we needed help, yes he was human but he still walked into dangerous situations simply because he wanted to help us, he was the one to come up with all those crazy but brilliant ideas and more importantly he was the one who Derek wanted the most, he had earned our respect and we are still loyal to him, unlike with her who we can't stand being in the same room as" he paused as we all thought it over "she got Stiles out the way because she thought she deserved Derek more...." Isaac trailed off sounding and smelling confused, Boyd nodded his head "yes simply because Derek didn't want her, so she wanted to prove that she could have him no matter what and if you think back, she never liked Stiles in the first place, so she decided to get rid of Stiles and gain Derek at the same time" he concluded and I couldn't help but nod my head because now that I think about it whenever they were in the same room she would always scoff at his ideas or make fun of him in someway "so that's why she's still around, for her chance with Derek" Erica said looking disgusted all Boyd did was nod

I noticed we were getting closer to the Sheriff house, so I softly whispered "you don't have to worry about that guys, if Stiles ever comes home I'd make sure he knows what happened and how I felt....well still feel, he's my soulmate and I wouldn't allow anyone to come between us again" and before they could respond we were pulling into the driveway, we all got out meeting the rest of the pack at the front door, before we could knock the door opened and the Sheriff motioned us in "Sheriff what's wrong" Scott asked worriedly I'm hoping there's nothing wrong with Stiles, he sighed "I'm alright Scott but I thought you all needed to know, Stiles is on his way here" he said smiling, we all stood there for a few minutes until Lydia started speaking "seriously he's coming" all he did was nod his head "he told me he had some news but wouldn't tell me on the phone so he's coming to visit, I thought since non of you have seen him, this would be the perfect time to call you over" he commented slowly as he watched for our reactions
