Peter wasn't the Alpha (he's still in a coma) the one who bit Scott was just some random Alpha, who Derek quickly killed, so Derek is an Alpha in this story, Laura was killed trying to fight the Alpha and there will only be mentions of Scott and Alison in this story.....there won't be any dialogue from either of those characters

Stiles POV

I woke up to the sound of my dad banging on my bedroom door "Stiles get up, your going to be late for school" I groaned hating the thought of spending most of the day in that hell of a place "alright, I'm up" I replied groggy, as I got myself ready I thought back to everything that's happened in the last year and sadly I could say that my friendship with Scott has changed since he's been bitten, at first it hurt deeply but after awhile it became a dull pain, now when I see him I don't feel anything and that saddens me because before all this started, I never thought I would ever feel like that about the guy, who I thought off as a brother but maybe the saying is right 'people change' and he definitely changed and not for the better either, I was brought out of my thought when I heard my dad yell "Stiles I'm leaving see you later, love you" I smiled softly before answering "be safe and love you too" when the front door closed, I checked my phone to see how long I've got before I have to leave and I saw I had half an hour still

So I made my way down stairs towards the kitchen "mmm what shall I have for breakfast" I muttered to myself, but when I walked into the kitchen I noticed pops had already made me breakfast, I smiled softly at the thought of pops making me breakfast when he doesn't know how to cook, I sighed when I saw how burnt the bacon was "how the hell did we survive without you mom" I muttered chuckling at what she would say if she was here, the only thing that wasn't burnt was two out of the five pancakes but I ate them anyway since I didn't have time to make anything else, I shook my head fondly as I made my way towards my ever precious jeep and got in without worrying about anything, maybe I should off

Scott has been a werewolf now for nearly 2 years and within that time all I seem to get from him is anger or he's mocking me, I've seen Derek Hale a lot around town even if I never talk to him, I always get this feeling that he's staring at me or it could just be my imagination but even his pups have been staring at me, at the moment I'm just ignoring them all, school was the same boring shit like every other day since Scott was bitten, I decided to give up Lacrosse since I'm never off the bench and Scott made first string, so I wanted to give track a go since I still wanted to do something physical and it will helps keep me in shape, I've not spent as much time with Scott since his whole attitude has changed, so I went to the hospital to see about visiting someone, who doesn't get any visitors

At the hospital

I had been here for nearly two hours, when a nurse for the private patients on the other floor asked if I had some extra time "yeah sure, just let me call my pops and let him know I'll be a bit late" I said smiling, she nodded "that's fine, just let me know when your ready and I'll take you up" she replied smiling at me, I walked around the corner and called my dad "hey son, are you on your way home" pops asked when he answered the phone "not yet, a nurse asked if I could spare another hour to sit with someone for a bit, I said I'll phone you just to let you know why I'm late" I said into the phone as I moved back round the corner to see the nurse standing there patiently "alright son, don't be too late and I'll see you later love you" I heard him say "love you too pops" I replied before hanging up and following the nurse

"Is it alright if I asked how long the patients been here for" I asked kindly knowing some nurses don't like to give out too much details "he's been here for a couple of years now" she answered sadly "he has had some visitors right, I mean his family didn't leave him here alone, did they" I whispered feeling sad for this unknown man "I would never be able to leave a sick family member alone in a hospital" I muttered to myself not really caring if she heard me or not, we walked down the corridor to the very end, where it seems not a lot of people go and you can tell, it's so dark and there's a feeling of loneliness surrounding this end of the floor, I looked around sadly at the thought of this man laying here alone, made me mad at his family for abandoning him "here it is, his family pays for him to be cared for but they don't visit him, so when I heard you were around the hospital doing your rounds" I blushed a little "I thought maybe you would sit with him for a bit" she whispered as we walked through the door
