My Heart

You land on a roof. Your face still burning red. Your heart races as you sit there. What you said was true. You came back to help the Night furys but you also came back because you got a weird feeling around Astrid. The feeling wasn't a bad weird. It felt nice. It was warming. Everytime you saw her you seemed happier. Though with everything that has gone wrong in your life. You can feel happy as long as you have her. You didn't know what it was. You couldn't say. However, you knew you liked it. Her hugs made you nervous. Her smile made you smile. Her being around just made you smile. "Y/N you okay? You darted off so quickly." You look over the edge of the roof. It was Astrid. "Uh... Yeah I'm fine I ..... Uh just...  Uh." You stammered for something to say. "Um... You don't seem fine. Your face is really red and your sweating a lot." She says. You open your mouth to speak but Astrid raises a hand. "Not gonna here it get down here." You listen to her and get off the room. "So what's up?" She asks you sitting down on the grass. You look around for an escape. You look at the house behind you. You had landed on Astrid's house. "Stop looking around and awnser me Y/N somethings wrong and I wanna help." You sit beside her. "Th.... The thing is .......I...I don't really know what's wrong..." Astrid looks at you she looks you up and down. "Either your really good at lying or you really don't know what's wrong. Which is weird." You make eye contact with her but quickly look away. "I think I know what's wrong actually." Astrid says giggling. You look over at her. "What? You do?" She nods. "The signs are all over you I'm surprised I didn't find out sooner." You tilt your head. "Y/N your in love." She says looking you in the eye and smiling. "Huh?" Her smile fades. "Oh yeah. You wouldn't have much experience with that word. You haven't been around humans a lot." Astrid looks down to her hands. "Have you been feeling strange around me?" Astrid asks turning her head back to face you. "Well kinda." She stares at you making you continue. "I like being around you. It makes me happy just to see you. Your smile makes me smile. And your hugs kinda make me nervous but not like I'm scared that something might happen." She smiles again. "Seems like love to me." You look down. "But what does that mean?" She looks you in the eye. "It's when you care deeply for someone. You like them for them. You may feel different around them than with other people." You look over to her. She was kinda blushing. "Y/N I can tell you one thing. Your special to me too. I love you and by the signs and sounds of it you love me too." You now knew what the feeling was. She places her hand under your chin and lifts you to face her. She gives you a quick kiss and stands up. "By the way we need to test our speed and accuracy." She stands and jumps on her dragons back. You stand and hit the sky. You and Astrid fly side by side and land in the arena. Hiccup looks at you. "You need your dragon, Y/N." You spread your wings. "Yeah well then have fun eating dust." Hiccup joked. "Oh you'll eat my dust." You giggle. All of them go hiccup beating his old score. "Can't beat that can ya Y/N." You smile. "Challenge excepted." You shoot to the sky. You take the same course as everyone else. But this time it felt more free because you weren't on a dragon. You got back in only half the time as Hiccup. Everyone was in amazement. "Whoa." Hiccup whispers. You giggle a little and you and them finish the practice.
