Out of Control Dragon Feelings

You cry as you just stare at the sky. Your father stands beside you with a hand on your shoulder. "Sweet heart it's okay. She'll back. She can't stay gone forever" He tries to reassure you. "No she won't. She's not coming back and she never will. She hates me now. Only because I use the dragons to get things done.... Or to help." You say turning away from the sky. You stretch out the wing that got scratched by your mother. You sigh. You roar and Midnight flys to you. You jump on her and fly back to the part of the island that the house are being built on. You see Astrid and Hiccup talking. You land by them. Astrid turns to you. "So why'd your parents want to talk to you?" Astrid asked. "It was my mom and she didn't want to talk really...." You say in a low tone. "Then what did she want?" Hiccup asked looking into your eyes. "She wanted her spot as Alfa back... So she fought me..." You extend your hurt wing and Astrid gasps. "Oh my gosh Y/N are you okay." She rushes over to you and studies your wing. "I'm fine." You lie. You look up at the sky. Stars are beginning to spot the dark blue blanket above. "It's pretty late. You two should get some sleep." You say as your eyes get glassy. 'Fine I will leave' You begin to cry as you remember your mom's words her actions and of course her leaving. Astrid and Hiccup stare at you in shock. Astrid places her hand on your shoulder. "You okay Y/N?" Astrid asked. "NO! I am not okay and it's your fault." You set your wings ablaze and stare at Astrid with hatred. "Your the one who told me to use the dragons. Now my mom hates me and she left me." You charge plasma getting ready to shoot her but Hiccup pushes her out of the way. They both fall to the ground as your plasma only burns a patch of grass. Hiccup gets up. "Y/N you need to calm down." He says putting one of his hands up signaling you to stop. You screech and charge another blast of plasma. However, someone jumps on you from the side bring to the ground. "Sweet heart stop it." It was your father. "I know you just got me and your mother back and you just lost her again but I know you love these people otherwise you would have left them." Your wings stop blazing and you look at your dad with sorrow in your eyes. He gets up and you get up with him. You turn to Astrid and Hiccup who seem terrified. "I'm sorry." You mumble. You spread your wings and take one good look at the now burnt sore. You wince but take off anyway. You bolt away not looking back. You can't stand to hurt the ones you love. You don't want to hurt Astrid. But you almost did. You almost made her a crispy chicken. Suddenly a dragon flys by you. Not just any dragon, Toothless. "I guess your not as fast when your wing is hurt." Hiccup says with a smirk. You look away. You continue to fly straight. Suddenly you take a sharp turn flenching as pain shoots through your wing. Hiccup keeps up. "Y/N come back. The island will never be the same without you." You look at him and then back in front. "It'll be a lot safer that's for sure." You say going higher. "Y/N that's not what I mean. Ever since you came here Astrid has been much happier. So has Fishlegs and the twins." You sigh. You loved Astrid that's why you were leaving. You didn't want to end up hurting her. But you were just by leaving. "What about Snotlout?" You ask lowering yourself closer to the water. "Snotlout will miss having someone that'll fire back at his remarks." Hiccup said with a smile. "Well then I guess things will change for him too." You say trying to find an escape. Hiccup sighs. "I didn't want it to come to this." He groans and then flys above you. Toothless grabs you and flys you back to the island. He drops you and lands beside you. Astrid runs over to you and hugs you tightly. "What the hell Y/N?" She cries into your shoulder. "Why would you do that?" She asks. You sigh. "I didn't want to almost hurt you again." She looks up at you. "That was once. And you were just upset. You needed space but I got too close." She said trying to reassure you that you did nothing wrong. "Plus as I said before I love you." She kisses your cheek. "Now let's go get your wing checked up on." She says with a smile and you can't help but to smile too. "Yeah."
