Part Eighteen: Tick Tock

All I hear is Yugo's terrified and enraged scream.

"CEDAR, NO!"

I peek out the window, and Cedar is there, and there are three almost boowolf-like things and one of them has pounced....

I see Yugo explode out from under countless of the things, full on pelting for Cedar.

I glance to Sheila, and she looks horrified. "How did he get out? Was he out the whole time?" She whispers in horror and fear.

But in the eerie silence, it sounds like it was screamed.

Cedar screeches in fear.

"Help!"

I feel a light breeze behind me. I look back and there's Xelor. He chuckles, and all he says is, "Tick Tock, dear friends.

Tick

Tock."

I don't even blink, and somehow I miss him leaving.

He's just gone, leaving me with a bitter taste in my mouth and fear sinking like a stone in my stomach.

This can only get worse....
