The Transferee

Chapter 8

Andito ako ngayon sa period 2 class ko. Patapos na din itong klase ko.

"Don't forget later, for those who are interested in trying out for our glee club, auditions are after school in this room." sabi ni ma'am sa amin.

*Ring*

Nagring na yung bell at pumunta na kami ni Michelle sa lockers namin.

"Michelle? You said at the open house that you went to St. Mary's when you were in grade 9, you are twins with Michael, but he told me that he came from Vancouver and that he studied there. I'm confused." tanung ko sakanya

"My mom is in Vancouver and my dad is here in Toronto. It's a family thing. It's complicated."

"May I ask why?"

"I don't wanna talk about it"

"Sorry"

"By the way, are you auditioning later? I really think you would get in. You have a very nice voice HONEST!!"

"I'm going if you're going"

"DEAL! see you later at math!!"

Pumunta na ako sa ESL class ko. Pagpasok ko andun na mga classmates ko pati na din sila Ana.

Umupo ako dun sa dati kong upuan.

"Pst Regina, magaaudition ka mamaya dba?" tanung sakin ni Violet

"Ah eh oo bakit?"

"Tara sabay na tayo"

"Magaaudition ka din?"

"Oo naman. balita ko highschool musical 1 ang gagawin nilang musical ngayong taon at sempre fan na fan ako ni gabriella."

"Tara sama ka na samin ni Michelle."

"Sana makuha ko yung role ni Gabriella"

"Kaw pa, kaya mo yan!!"

"Okay class, I will pass around the first book that we will read this semester. This is Anne Frank's Diary." sabi ni sir

"Now does any of you know or have an idea what is written in the diary?"

Hmm.. familiar yung diary na yun. Teka saan ko ba nakita o narinig yun?? Ah naalala ko na!!

Tinaas ko yung kamay ko

"Sir, I remember my mom reading that diary once. I know what it is about. She said that Anne Frank lived during the hollocaust or world war II. She was 13 when she began writting on her diary. Her diary was actually a gift given to her by her dad on her 13th birthday. The hollocaust started when she was thirteen on 1942 and ended on 1945. Anne Frank went into hiding with her family for three years, but someone sold them out to the Nazi's. She actually died during the war in 1945 a few months after the war was liberated with the Americans." sabi ko napatahimik ata buong klase. Ehehehe?

"Nicely said Ms. Reyes. You guys can start your readings, but we will all read the book in class so we would finish at the same time."

"Sis, di ko alam na magaling ka pala sa history?" sabi sakin ni Ana

"Ay hindi, mabilis lang ako makamemorize ng dates. Example pag may tao dito na sinabi sakin ng birthday niya, chances are I will never forget that date. Feeling ko nga curse yun eh kasi pag nagkaboyfriend ako tapos nagbreak kami di ko makakalimutan anniversary namin."
