RM's pov
I stared at the phone in my hand, it had been ringing ever since I read all the messages. And not just mine for that matter. All of us had put our phones on silent mode, just waiting for the right name to flash across the screen.
J-Hope was the first to get in touch with his parents. He went to his room and came out a couple of minutes later, eyes swollen from crying but with a smile on his face. My mother managed to reach me soon after that, I went to my room so I could talk to her in private. I nearly broke down when I heard her say my name. I felt like a three-year-old after his first day in kindergarten.
I don't know about the others but all of them had spoken to their parents when I returned. Their swollen, red, wet faces made that quite obvious.
"Did everyone talk to the person they wanted to talk to?" I asked.
"No." V answered. "No one happens to know Luna's number by heart?"
Everyone shook their head.
"Our landline?"
"I know that number!" Jin yelled.
"Really?" V jumped up "What is it?"
"Yah! Stop it, we unplugged it and packed it remember?" SUGA sighed.
Bang PD walked in right as we all realized that. "What's with the long faces?" He asked.
"We're a bit tired from the flight." I said, not a complete lie.
Bang PD nodded and said: "Have you unpacked your stuff yet? You have three hours to unpack and rest before your first meeting. And we hope that your parents will arrive here when the meeting is over. Jin, you're going to the hospital tomorrow." before leaving again.
We got up and went to our rooms.
V's pov
"Taehyung-ah," Jimin stopped me right before I entered my room: "I know it's too bad you can't reach her. But at least you left that letter for her right? The one you told me about on the plane?"
I nodded "Yeah, you're right."
I forced a smile. I knew he was trying to cheer me up, but it wasn't working. I went to my room, unzipped my bag and turned it upside down. Its content dropped onto my bed with a dull thud and spread open. One shirt fell off my bed, so I picked it up. I shook it to get the dust off causing something to fall out of it. I stared at the thing on the floor.
No way...
I put down my shirt and hesitantly picked up what had fallen out of it.
The room started spinning and I felt sick in my stomach as I realized what I was holding.
"What the hell is my letter doing here?"
One week later
Kaylee's pov
The past week had been hell, I had moved in with Luna because everyone, even my parents, was worried about her. We had cleaned up everything. Given all the things they'd left behind a place. She moved to Taehyung's room, I took Yoongi's. She dropped out of school and now studied something else she could study from home. She didn't want to tell me what, just yet. All I knew was that she locked herself up in her room quite often.
She looked like she was doing fine, but I knew she barely kept it together. She had been listening to the music on Jungkook's IPod ever since we got here. She was sleeping on the sofa when I came home. I went to get a closer look and noticed she had tears rolling down her face. I shook her a little to wake her. "Hi sleepy head," I said when she opened her eyes.
"Kaylee? When did you come home?" she asked with a groggy voice. She sat up and rubbed her eyes.
"About a minute ago." I said. "What were you dreaming of? Taehyung?"
She shook her head. "No, I haven't dreamt about him yet. But I did dream about someone who was in Korea though."
"Another member of BTS?" I tried
"No, I dreamt about my brother, running through the airport."
I frowned. "Again? Are you sure you're ok?"
She sighed and said: "I'm sure, I guess it's because I've been at the airport. It'll blow over." she got up and went to the kitchen.
"Did they call you yet?" I asked as I got up.
Luna turned and shook her head. "Did they call you?"
"No, they didn't." I sighed "I wonder what's going on, why they couldn't call us yet."
"They're busy. I mean I looked up their schedule. It was completely empty up until a few days ago. Now it's stuffed with television appearances and interviews. They'll call." Luna said, trying to convince herself more than trying to convince me.
"Sure," I murmured as I watched her grab a drink from the fridge.
I couldn't understand how she could be so calm. Her boyfriend moved to the other side of the world, on top of that she hadn't heard from him since. They didn't even have a picture together.
Not that I could say much. I mean, the guy I have a crush on only turned out to be someone famous from the other side of the world with thousands, excuse me, millions of fans... No, I wasn't jealous of the girls who got to see him up close right now. I was almost green with envy.
Jin's pov
We were sitting in the waiting room for one of the many shows we had to appear on. Luckily this time we weren't waiting alone. GOT7 had to go on after us so we shared the waiting room. RM was talking to Jackson; I already knew about what. Jungkook was telling BamBam and Yugeom the same story. Jimin, V, SUGA and J-Hope were talking to the others, well, Jimin and J-Hope were talking, V and SUGA just sat there. One of the staff members came running up to me. "Jin-ssi, we found a note in the pocket of your jeans, it fell out earlier." and handed me a yellow piece of paper. I opened it and gasped. Everyone looked at me.
"Jin-hyung, everything alright?" Jungkook asked.
"I'm fine, I just realized I forgot about this, sorry to startle you." I apologized and I stared at the post-it in my hands. "I completely forgot I had this..." a smile crept its way onto my face. I wanted to take my phone but the staff told us we had to go on. I groaned and put my phone and the post-it in my pocket.
"Jin-ssi, no phones on set."
"Ah, sorry, habit." I took my phone out of my pocket and gave it to one of our staff members.
Namjoon came up to me and asked: "Jin-hyung, why are you smiling like that?"
I leaned towards him and whispered: "I found the post-it with Kaylee's number."
"The one she left in the bathroom?" Namjoon's eyes grew wide, Jimin, who had heard our conversation filled in the others. I swear we never had a bigger smile on our faces than we had while on that show.
After our part was done we basically ran to the waiting room. I snatched my phone out of our staff's hands and reached into my pocket.
"Huh?"
"What?"
I stared at them in panic: "It's gone."
"Gone?"
"Ok, everybody search the floor!" Namjoon ordered as he crouched down.
"BTS? Time to change, next interview has been rescheduled. You're going now instead of tomorrow."
We stared at the staff member in disbelief. You've got to be kidding me?
