3 weeks later

Merida groaned as her alarm went off. God she hated school.

<+>

Jack groaned as his alarm went off. God he hated school.

<+>

Hiccup groaned as his alarm went off. God he hated school.

<+>

Rapunzel squealed as the sun finally rose. God she loved school.

<+>

"How can you be so lively this early in the morning?" Merida complained as she and Rapunzel walked the halls, Rapunzel jumping about and happily greeting people.

"How can you not?! It's a Monday!"

"EXACTLY!"

"I love school!"

"You are not natural."

"Are you kidding? I'm ALL natural! Artificial products are the number one problem facing our community today."

"No. I think it's sleep deprivation."

"Oh your just boring."

"No I'm normal."

"Your anything BUT normal."

"I am not having an argument with you about whose normal and whose not, can we just find the guys?" She asked.

"Oh alright!" Rapunzel giggled and went to her locker "be right back!" She said as Merida went to the opposite side of the hall to hers.

Looking left and right, Merida, twisted the lock and hesitantly opened her locker. She smiled at the picture of Hiccup on the door, below the one of all of them on the Whirland park's DANGERZONE. The greatest rollercoaster around.

She'd never ever put a picture of a boy in her locker... Apart from this one. I mean, it's okay, because he's her friend. It doesn't mean she has a crush on him it means she... Cares for him. Yeah, cares for him.

She then turned her attention to the poster at the back, the 2014 SilverThorn archery competition, as she retreived her books and shoved them into her bag. Merida's only chance at ever winning anything. Aside from best practical joker or most likely to be used as a mop. Only a few more weeks of practice and she'd be perfect. Perfect. Perfect is not good enough. Come one Merida! You have to be in it to win it!

"Whatcha lookin at?" Rapunzel's voice came from behind herand turned and slammed the locker shut, drawing the attention of 3 other pupils who quickly went back to there first activity of the day.

"Um...Mehamen?"

"What? What did you just say?"

"I-I said Umehamen..."

"W... What does that even mean?"

"I dont know you made me jump!"

"Hey, girls." Hiccup smiled at the two of them, strolling over. Merida was thankful for the distraction, even if her heart was suddenly uncontrolable with butterflies.

"Hey, Hic." She said, Rapunzel repeating.

"Have I got something to show you guys!" He said exitedly and rummaged through his bag, bringing out a small contraption of sorts. It resembled a tin can with an extendable arm on one side.

"Um, Hic? What is that?" Meridian asked, starring at the device he held proudly out in front of him.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, the hand-a-tron 2000!" He introduced, grinning wildly. There was a moment of silence.

"What does it do?" Rapunzel wondered. Hiccup laughed.

"Everything! It can wake you up, get you dressed, brush your teeth, feed you breakfast, get your stuff ready, remind you to do things-"

"I'd rather see it in action." Merida chuckled.

"Yes that would be easier. Let me turn it on." He said and held the machine up to his face, studying it with his lips pursed as if he'd never seen anything like it before. He flicked it once, bashed it on the top, and shook it slightly "as soon as I remember how..."

"Oh Hiccup." Rapunzel laughed. She waited but nothing came. She frowned. Where was the cocky little after-comment? Where was Jack?

"Hey, anyone know where Jack is?" She asked, concerned, as she glanced down the bustling halls. Merida shrugged mundanely as she watched Hiccup trying to figure out his machine.

"I think I may go look for him." She informed distractedly, beginning to turn away but Merida grabbed her shoulder.

"Relax, Punzie, he's coming. I'm sure he wouldn't miss a day without at least looking at you!" She smirked, winking at her and making her blush a deep red. She was, of course, referring to the major crush she had on the white haired prankster. It was so obvious sometimes that even she could tell. Although, Jack, never did. He just never seemed interested. Sometimes she thought she should just give up with the whole Jack thing. She sighed and shrugged.

"Aha!" Hiccup exclaimed "I think you have to-" there was a small explosion as Hiccup poked at something on his hand-a-tron. Both girls burst out laughing as Hiccup stood there in daze, watch the spot where it had once sat in his hand. Merida stifled the last few giggles and began to wipe the soot from his face as Rapunzel broke down behind her.

Jack jumped out of the car with his blue hoody hung over his shoulder and a piece of toast clamped between his teeth. He shuffled towards the school, buttoning his pants and pulling his shoes on properly rather than just dangling on his toes. He placed his foot on the first step just finishing up his look and stuffing the last bit of toast in his throat when a voice called out behind him.

"Jack? Jack Frost?" chuckled a familiar voice. Jack slowly turned, mentally begging The Lord that it wasn't who he thought it was. Unfortunately The Lord does not forgive all sins.

"Flynn Rider?" He said in disbelief. The boy scratched his bristled chin in thought as he looked him up and down.

"You've changed."

"For the better. Unlike some people." Jack shot back, removing his foot from the step so as to face Eugene.

"You got sassy." He observed with a nod.

"You got annoying."

"Oh come on, Jack! Your not still hung up on what I did to your friend are you?"

"What are you doing here, Rider?" He said, ignoring Flynn's question. He smirked.

"Well, Frosty, our school burnt down, Droves secondary? And me and a few others are starting here now, Jack. We're your new classmates." He chuckled.

"Who are the others?" Jack demanded with gritted teeth.

"Oh, you know, Ariel, Phillip, Eric, Hans, Elsa... Anna..." He laughed.

Jacks head shot up as he glanced rapidly around the playground. Anna was starting here? Oh no. This cannot be happening. Slowly, he backed out up the stairs, stumbling on the last one and hitting someone behind him.

"Ow!" They cursed and Jack turned.

"I'm so sorry I-"

"Jack?"

"Anna." He breathed in distress.
