Rapunzels POV

I lie, awake, on my bed, feeling more alone then ever, even though my phone beside me was exploding with my plans for the party in a few days. The first text was a mass text from Hans, signalling everyone that it was ago. I had put my phone down directly after that. I let my new "friends" decide my fate for that night.

Glancing over to the short purple dress hanging on my wardrobe door, an exasperated sigh left my lips and filled the room, breaking the silence for only a moment, before the unfaltering quiet returned to the room. The dress was small, strapless, and would probably show a lot of cleavage and legs. What did I expect? Flynn did pick it out. I looked over to my closed door, where muffled banging that I had blocked out long ago could be heard. My mother had brought another stranger home. Another sigh. Was this it? Was this where I was headed? A failing business, desperate for cash, with a 17 year old daughter at 35, and barely having said anything to the guy I'm screwing?

I was hoping I'd never turn out like my mother. I was hoping my own different personality would change that. Along with the help of my friends. But here I was, my true friends gone, lying on a bed that I wouldn't be sleeping in tomorrow? Flynn's going to get his way at that party. And there's nobody to stop him. I know I can't. I'm destined to turn out like my mother.

I picked up my phone and let my fingers type while I just sat there and tried not to fall asleep. I wasn't texting anyone in particular. I was just replying to everyone who was telling me stuff I didn't really care about. I could practically hear the booming music and distasteful beer I would have to swallow tomorrow. Ugh. It was going to be a long night, that's for sure.

"Rapunzel! Hurry up!" Esmerelda yelled as she turned the corner up ahead. I was shuffling along at the back of the group whilst the others jostled about further ahead. It's not my fault: my leather pants kept giving me a wedgie and it was really uncomfortable. I pulled at the material and skipped as quick as I could to catch the others. How did they walk in these? It just seemed unnatural for them to take a stroll in extremely tight clothes such as those and not look like Pelicans. I finally caught up, my ass holding yet another wedgie, which I decided to leave, and slipped my arm around Flynn's waist.

"What were ya doing back there?" Flynn asked, grasping my shoulder tightly. In his voice I could detect a hint of annoyance and decided it would be best to give a compliment, but not really answer his question, that way I'm not lying and he's satisfied.

"You look sexier from the back, you know that?" I smirked and a smug smile came across his face, he didn't say another words and tried his very best to keep his back towards any females that passed by, and, when none were around, he'd constantly try to walk ahead.

"Hey, Aladdin, whens your old rust bucket getting fixed? I don't want to have to walk to school every day!" Flynn groaned, poking his head in between the foreign boy and Mavis.

"Don't talk about her like that! Use her name!" Aladdin hissed, anger flaring in his eyes.

"No way! You don't give cars names, Al!"

"Well, I do. You better start showing her some respect or you're not getting any more lifts."

"Fine. You win. Whens "the magic carpet" going to be fixed?" Flynn grumbed, thoroughly emphasising his use of the trucks name.

"Tommorow evening. We can fetch it on the way back home, and I'll be sure to pick all you guys up for the party." Al replied. Good, I really didn't feel like walking all the way over to west Silver Wood for this party. Especially in, at least, 6 inch heels.
