That title sounds like it belongs to a very spoopy story. This is not a very spoopy story.
This tale takes place at a wonderful place known as CPET. I'm not sure what that stands for, but its other name JSEHS, is an acronym for Junior Science, Engineering, and Humanities Symposium. I think.
You will be hearing lots about CPET in the future, as it is a very eventful place.
I was staying in a hotel with a couple other people I know, and early in the morning we had to leave for one of the speaker competitions. Me and my friend were walking down the hall on our way to meet our group, when out of the blue she said,
"Hey, I wonder what would happen if we knocked on somebody's door,"
And we just kinda laughed and kept walking.
But a few seconds later as we rounded the corner, I reached out and knocked on one of the doors. (this is what happens when you don't get enough sleep, kids)
For a few seconds nothing happened, and my friend didn't even notice I had knocked. Then, I heard the doorknob turning.
Well, uh-oh.
I pushed my friend forward and started sprinting down the hall.
Luckily there was a little nook in the wall for a water fountain, and we crammed in there.
The guy had opened the door, and sounded really irritated, but I guess he couldn't see us, which was good. After he shut the door again, my friend's mom called her and asked where we were. We said we were on our way, which we were, but we ended up being super late, which was bad since we only had one car, and one of the members of our group was competing for really big prizes, soooo... I'm sorry?
It turned out all right though, and the girl ended up not being late.
YAyyyy
