Aaron's POV
"HAAA!?", Isaac yelled over the phone literally almost destroying my hearing.
"Keep your voice down, idiot", I complained. "Shouldn't you be happy to finally pay your final debt?"
"But not this way, you fool! I'm not gonna be your lover for even just a single day!", he kept on yelling. I kept my phone a few inches away from my ear as I held a deafening conversation with Isaac over the line. The reason why he's so noisy and angry over the line because I asked him to be my lover.
To be precise, pretend as my lover.
Everything started earlier in the morning when my parents called. They said they will be visiting a famous local shop in the area and will be hiking the mountains, and thought they could come today and stay in the house for the next three days. My ever-so-grandiose mother said that she'll be bringing with her my older brother together with his fiance, who are getting married in three months' time.
"You've been staying there for more than a few years and it would only be normal to ask if you've already found a girlfriend, right?", or so she said. She informed me that that my father is in the middle of having business negotiations with another entertainment company and found out that the daughter of the president of that entertainment company was quite interested in me. Mother said it is highly possible for an arranged marriage to arise unless I already have a lover of my own and she inserted the fact of her dislike towards that girl for a reason which I do not know. And I don't really like not knowing.
But one thing is clear: get a girlfriend in less than 24 hours, or get married off to some stranger which my mom dislikes for some reason and for business purposes. I, at least, would like to have some freedom to choose who I'll spend the rest of my life with. Then a name flashed in my mind: Isaac.
I remembered he still has a debt to pay so I gave him a call, and it all led to the current noisy conversation with him over the phone.
"Hear me out will you?"
"NEVER!", he puts down his phone, leaving a loud beep which could've hurt my ear if I didn't put my phone a few inches away. I sighed in surrender and leaned against the back of the couch in my room where I sat down the entire duration of the call. Seriously, it's just pretend. Plus, I don't want to get married to a complete stranger. The thought of it sends chills down my spine. What if she's some girl who has a crazy obsession over me? Or maybe a psychopath who's been tailing me ever since the moment she laid her eyes on me?
Oh, the life of a handsome youth.
I lifted myself up from the couch and clenched my fist, "I'm not gonna get married to some stranger". I slid my thumb across the screen of my phone as I scrolled down my contacts. After clicking on one of the names enlisted, I lifted the phone to my ear, "Hello? I need your immediate service regarding a personal matter".
Isaac's POV
It was a fair Saturday morning when I woke up. Was.
Everything went well until that bastard, Aaron, gave me a call in the middle of the day. After giving me a call, I realized my expectations regarding his reasons for calling were.. quite far from his real objective. I thought he was calling to apologize. Instead, he called to ask me to be his lover. I mean, how crazy is that!? You can't just ring someone a call and tell them, 'Hey, be my lover, alright?' What a pretentious bastard.
In the middle of watching a TV program with a bowl of cereal on my lap, a knock reverberated on my door.
"Yes, coming!", I put down my bowl of cereal, lifted myself up from the sofa and opened the door. "How may I help you?" A group of three tall men wearing black formal outfits and black sunglasses stood on my doorstep. They looked like those agents in the movie, Men In Black.
