Isaac's POV

The itinerary Aaron's mom discussed earlier during breakfast will be beginning a bit later in the afternoon, so I spent the entire time before that in the guest room watching the programs on TV. Getting a bit bored, I turned it off and decided to do something different than the usual things I do at home. I left the room and walked outside the house and to the gardens where I saw a group of maids tending to the flowers. I ran to them and smiled, "Morning!"

"G-good morning, Young Lady", the one I greeted bowed politely. "What brings you here to the garden?"

"I just saw you tending to the flowers. Mind if you teach me how to do that?"

"Oh, but you'll get your clothing dirty..!", she said in alarm. I looked at a counter where the gardening equipments were at and ran to it. I scanned for a pair of gloves and upon sighting one, I took it and wore it on my hands.

"How about this then?", I grinned.

Aaron's POV

I visited Isaac in the guest room and noticing he wasn't there, I tried looking for him elsewhere. After walking past doors and through hallways, I ended up in the finding myself in the garden.

"Miss Iris!", I heard a maid scream. I ran to where all the fuss came from and saw Isaac sitting on the grassy ground with his red polo shirt soiled, whereas the maids tried wiping it with some clean cloth in a panic.

"Hey, no need to worry that much!", he stopped the maids. "Calm down, all of you. I'm fine! It's just dirt, I won't die or something just from it". He lifts himself from the ground and smiles at the maidservants, "Now, which row were we?" The maidservants, obviously falling for his charm, led him to another row of flowers and taught him how to tend to them.

"You seem to be having fun", I called out to him. Isaac perked his head up and the maids greeted me as I made my way to where he stood.

"Why are you here?", he directs the shovel at my face. I held his wrist and directed the shovel away, "That's dangerous, you know. Anyway, I want to help out, too". I looked at a maid and as she realized my intentions, she immediately got me a pair of gloves. I wore them on and began to assist. I took a pair of scissors and cut the stem of a flower.

"NOO!!", Isaac yelled and made heavy steps towards me. He stole the scissors from my hands and scolded me, "You don't cut the stem of the roses. You just get rid of the dead leaves and the weeds around it!" He knelt beside me and showed me how to do things. As he spoke of the instructions, I disregarded all of them and just kept on staring at the focused look on his eyes.

"Got it?", he darted his eyes at me.

I nodded, "More or less". He turned his eyes to the fallen rose and picked it up, lifting the flower a bit close to his nose. The petals of the rose brushed against the tip of his nose while he was smelling its scent.

Ah, I'm getting jealous of a flower.

He stood up and ran to a counter where gardening equipments seem to be placed. I followed after him and saw him take off his gloves after putting the rose into a piece of paper he tore from an old newspaper. "I'll be back!", he announced as he left running back in the house.

I ended up following him back to his room where he placed the rose on the table near the windows and took a glass vase he said he'd found inside the closet. He filled the vase with a bit of water and placed it on top of the table. He took the rose from the piece of paper and flinched.
