Chapter 3:

Tori's POV:

We drove to my house it only took five minutes but I kinda didn't want it to end. In the short time I spent with Cameron I learned he had an older sister a yellow lab named jake and only his mom, just like me now. His dad left when he was younger and it really effected him, it made him grow up. His favorite Ice cream is cookie dough just like me we both listen to rap or pop and our favorite color is blue. We love the ocean and hate the city and we both have a lot planned for our future. Him and I have so much in common it's crazy. We got to my house and I honestly didn't want to get out.

"We're here" Cameron said

"Yeah thanks so much I really appreciate it"

"Yeah don't sweat it would it be weird if I asked for your number?"

"No here" I handed him my phone and he handed me his

"I'll text you" he said

"Ok thanks again Cameron"

I got out of the car and walked inside and it was eerily quite

"H-hello?" I yelled

"TORI UP HERE HELP ME PLEEASE"I heard talan scream

I ran up the stairs to find talan tied to a chair. There was blood everywhere

"WHAT HAPPENED WHERES MOM ARR YOU OK?!"

There was so much running through my mind. Talan collapsed in my lap and cried i forgot how little he was.

"Where's mom?!"I asked

"I-I don't know they took her"

"Who took her!?"

"Some men they said dad owed them money and she needed to pay but she couldn't they hit her so much tori I thought she was dead they told me that I needed to find the money that dad owed them or she was definitely dead"

I picked up my phone and called 911

Dispatcher-"911 what's your emergency"

"There was a brake in there's blood everywhere my mom is missing and I just found my brother tied to a chair"

"Okay miss help is on the way"

She stayed on the line with me she didn't say much just asked me questions between my soft sobs my brother was now asleep and I could here the sirens draw closer

*knock knock*

I let the police in, they examined my house and questioned talan and I. They said that there wasn't much they could find for evidence but they would definitely be looking. They said that we could sleep at the station but I didn't want to. I also couldn't sleep here. My grandparents aren't alive and both my parents are only children. we had no one. The only person I could think to call was Cameron but I just met him and decided against it. I drove talan and I to get something to eat and we stayed in a motel across the street it was already 11 and we both had our first days of school tomorrow. I told talan that we didn't have to go but he insisted he did. He was only in 2nd grade and he already had the maturity of a high schooler. I turned on the T.V and let talan and I drift alseep to the sound of Full House. I honestly was scared out of my mind. We were on our own now.
