Chapter 14:
Tori's POV:
No no no what the hell did I just see. I slowly walked towards my parents room, at first glance there was nothing in there and then a gust of wind blew the balcony door open someone was definitely in here a second ago. I looked over the balcony to make sure the car was still there. It was thank god. Who the hell was in my house? I looked around the room and remembered my mom telling me something important about hiding things when I was younger
*flashback*
"Baby, don't keep important things lying around" my mom said picking up my Tiffany necklace
"It's not like anyone's going to steal it we're in our own house" I said
"You never know a burglar can come in and swipe it. That's why you should have a could hiding spot for everything important to you" she said
"Well do you have one?" I asked
"Yes but if I told you it wouldn't be a secret would it"
"No but gimmie a hint so I have an idea for a hiding spot"
"Mmkay well my hiding spot is someplace I will always dream on"
"What does that mean?" I asked
"Your smart you'll figure it out when you really need it" she said
*Flashback ends*
Dream on? Dream on what could that mean? Ok tori think where do you dream on? a pillow? I went over to my moms pillow and kinda threw it around no? Dream on? The mattress? I picked up the comforter and sheets to reveal a slight slit in the side of the mattress yes score! I stuck my hand inside and started pulling things out first came a wad of cash like a huge role of hundreds then family pictures and then a bag with 4 passports. I opened them there was one for me talan mom and dad but all our names were changed and we were from Russia and then the last thing I pulled out was a gun A GUN?! What the hell mom?! Why would she need a gun There must have been something going on that I didn't know about.
"Well thanks for the info mom" I said to myself I grabbed all the stuff including the gun and ran down stairs grabbing the bags before I got in the car
"What took you so long?" Talan asked
"Uhm well you know how dad "owed" people money" I said
"Yah"
"Well I think there's something more going on. Something serious"
