Chapter 12:

Cameron's POV:

Fear stretched across her face she looked at me and whispered

"That card the man gave you call him. Now. Theres a fire alarm out front the door hopefully they'll be pressured to leave but I doubt it but I still don't know how to get out there." Her eyes darted across the room until they landed on the big red panic button on the hospital bed.

"I can't push the button they'll come in and we won't be able to take him." She said

"I have an idea I'm gonna call Nash, I'm not gonna call the guy though he won't be much help. They know he's a cop" I said

"Ok" she said

I called Nash and he picked up

"Hey Nash I need you to come to the hospital in mission. Now. As quickly as you can don't ask questions just come." I said

"Uhm ok but your paying me for gas money" he replied

"I don't care just come!" I then hung up

"Nash is on his way" I said

There was then a loud bang on the door

"I'm going out" I said

"CAMERON?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" She yelled

"They don't want me they want you lock the door behind me."

"Nope not happening"she said

"Tori look at me I'll be fine"

"No! Cameron your one of the few people in this world that i actually care about. I've lost everyone if you walk out that door I don't have anyone if anything happens to you I wouldn't know what to do" she said Crying

I leaned in and kissed her. Everything all her problems seemed to drift away it was only us. I wanted to stay in that moment forever when we were interrupted by a knock but it was softer. Not as urgent

I walked out the door. But there wasnt two men there was a women a petite skinny dark haired women who looked about 25. I heard the door lock behind me.

"May I help you?" I asked

She studied me intently

"That's my niece and nephew in there" she said

"The funny thing is they don't have an aunt and I need you to leave before I call the police" I said

She looked at me processed what I said and then turned around to walk away. I was confused. What had just happened? I looked around for the fire alarm I pulled it and waited for tori to come out of the room. She came out with talan I had then noticed he was asleep.

"Let's go" she said

We walked down the hall when the two men and the woman appeared in front of us we bolted the other direction. There was another exit and we ran out. Shit. Someone else drove my car here I have no idea were it is. I called Nash

"Where are you?!"

"Pulling in calm down bro where are you?"

"Go to the back entrance"I said

"Ha I see you wait your with tori?"

I hung up the phone

"Take us somewhere" tori said

"K get in" he replied

She jumped in the front and I hauled talan into the back

Just as I shut the door the woman and two men came out

"GO NOW!" I screamed

He pushed on the gas and we were off

"What's going on?!" Nash asked

"People are trying to kill me ha take us back to the school I need my car" tori said nonchalantly

"Kill you?!" Nash repeated

"Yup big long story not in the mood to explain"

"Well ok" Nash said with worry

He then placed his hand on her thigh

"No stop" tori whispered

He removed his hand. What was that about? I pushed it out of my mind

We arrived at the school and tori thanked Nash. I didn't think she needed my help anymore so I was gonna stay in the car and have Nash take me home. Until tori yelled at me

"Cameron hurry up!"

I jumped out of the car and thanked Nash but he was barely paying attention to me he looked annoyed like I did something .

"Yeah whatever." He said

I handed him a 20 and walked away

I got into Tori's car. It wouldn't start

"WAIT NASH! can you jump my car?"

"I'm kinda in a rush" he said annoyed

"For what you weren't a second ago just help us ok?!" I yelled at him

"Whatever you can do it then" he said

I grabbed the cables and went to jump her car. But tori took them from me.

"I got this" she said with a smirk

It was really attractive to see her jump a car in a skirt.

"Thanks" she said to Nash

Tori closed his hood and nash couldn't be happier to get out of there we got into the car and talan woke up

"Wait tori? Where am I?"

She looked at me

"Did he just say tori?" She said

"Yup I'm pretty sure" I said smiling

"Talan who am I? And what grade are you in?" She said

"Uhm your my sister and I'm in 2nd grade" he said annoyed

Tori shrieked with joy and smiled at me. Well at least she has her brother back.
