PRINCESS LUNAFREYA SAT IN A CHAIR ON THE BALCONY OF CITADEL WITH GREY CLOUDS TOWERING OVER THE CITY OF INSOMNIA.  However, she was paying to attention to the worsening weather. She had her mind tangled with many thoughts that were caused only by one person; waitress from Royal Restaurant & Catering.

The way she just appeared out of nowhere in the room that has nothing to do with her job was completely unexpected. Lunafreya remembered how her blood froze the moment she was caught with Nyx. The two have been keeping their relationship a secret because the public was not yet ready to hear that the Oracle is in love with a man that doesn't come from a noble family, but a small village west of Insomnia.

Nyx assured her that the waitress won't say a word about what she saw, but Lunafreya felt insecure when it came to the secrecy of their relationship. Nyx seemed to trust the girl, but Lunafreya could only pretend that she does. The girl didn't seem like someone that would spread rumors around, but she worked in a place where rumors spread. No waitress in RR&C could be trusted.

"Luna!"

Lunafreya almost bolted out of her chair as she heard a voice of her childhood friend appearing in her daze.

"Noctis." Lunafreya gasped at the sight of Noctis sitting in the chair opposite of her; that chair was empty a moment ago. "I haven't noticed you."

"Clearly." Noctis murmured as he petted the heads of Lunafreya's dogs, Pryna and Umbra who expected him to pat them while they stood next to him. "What's bothering you?" Noctis questioned Lunafreya.

Lunafreya smiles to conceal the worry. "Nothing."

However, Noctis didn't buy it. He had known her since they were children and today, he knows her like his sister. Noctis may not be good at expressing his emotions, but he was very good at reading them.

"Luna, you know you can tell me anything." Noctis assured her as he grabbed onto the crispy bread covered in blueberry jam off the plate on the table.

Lunafreya briefly smiled and glanced at the maids that stood on the doorway. She gave them a motion for them to leave and they did as they were commanded, leaving Noctis and her alone to have a private conversation. With Lunafreya sending maids away, Noctis knew that it was something serious and very private.

"Is it Nyx?" Noctis's voice was covered in seriousness.

Noctis cared for Lunafreya and he had made a promise to himself that if Nyx ever hurts Lunafreya, he'll make sure to make Nyx regret his actions. King Regis accepted Nyx as Lunafreya's lover, but if he wrongs her, Noctis knows he will regret it.

"No." Lunafreya shook her head. "It's a waitress." Noctis raised his eyebrows at his friend. "She saw Nyx and me kissing."

Noctis paused in his chewing. "That's not good."

Lunafreya agreed. "Nyx says there is nothing for me to worry about. The girl is apparently loyal and she has promised not to tell a soul."

"But you don't believe him..."

"I do believe Nyx. It's the girl I don't trust." Lunafreya explained. "She is a Galahdian. Her name is Vesper Aquila."

Vesper... Vesper... Vesper...

Noctis repeated the name over and over again, trying to figure out why it sounded so familiar to him. And then he remembered the waitress that stood out from the rest of the waitresses

"She's the new waitress at Royal Restaurant." Noctis pointed out.

Lunafreya raised her eyebrows at him. "You know her?"
