Chapter 2 |Meeting A New Friend|

It's been a four year since that accident happened. It was just too gory and terrifying to even remember it. It was quite sad and to think that I had became quite fond of the old guy.

Goku is now currently a twelve-year-old and that would make me, being two years behind, a ten-year-old. It's about time that we meet Bulma, so everytime Goku asked me to accompany him fishing, I obliged. Everytime he asked I agreed and followed with no signs of the bluenette, well that is, until today.

We had just finished rolling a log of our own together to the house and breaking it to pieces by kicking the logs into as it fell perfectly in place.

Goku clapped his hands together happily, " Well, that takes care of that!" Goku exclaimed, feeling happy that the chores today were all finished earlier than expected.

I smiled, " Yup!" agreeing to Goku just as I heard the noise of a grumbling stomach that I had grown accustomed to for the time that I had lived with the spiky haired saiyan.

Goku patted his belly with a pout, " I'm hungry" stated he, looking at me with a pleading look as if he was silently asking a permission to eat.

I laughed and asked, " So... What does your tummy wants today?". I watched as Goku asked his stomach a question just to reply the question all by himself, " Hmmm.. Fish? Yup!! Fish.." Goku grinned, " Let's go fishing, Adrian!"

" Sure,'' I nodded and we walked into the house to ask for Grandpa's permission. " We're going to go fish Grandpa, you stay right here okay?" Goku said l, bowing to the 4-starred dragonball.

I followed his lead and bowed, " Okay then, let's go!" I said walking towards the direction of the river with Goku following when we heard some noises from the house.

My eyes widen, 'It's time!'. Goku looked back, " Huh? What is it Grandpa? I have never seen you glow like that before. Can you do it again?" Goku asked the glowing dragonball.

He waited for the dragonball to glow again but it didn't do as it was asked. Goku shrugged," Well, you can do it next time"

" Okay then, now let's go!" I said, jumping in the trees followed by Goku. We were halfway through the path when, " Wait! We're gonna need a little snack" Goku said, jumping on an apple tree. I stopped and looked back, " Okay" I jumped towards the apple tree to take an apple too.

We finished the apples and threw it to the ground, but Goku's apple seemed to hit the sabertooth. It went mad and started to chase Goku, he dodged it by holding onto the branch with his tail.

" Miss me!!" He said childishly before running into a random direction followed by the sabertooth. " Hey wait!!" I said, following them. One thing led to another and now we were falling off a cliff and by luck, dropped into a river.

With a bit of a struggle caused by my weighted outfit, I finally swam up the surface, spitting out the water that got into my mouth," Puih!" and started swimming towards the rock that Goku was on.

I sighed as I held onto it and lifted myself up onto the rock, " Huh... You go ahead and fish, I think I already have enough wetness for one day" I said, feeling heavy from the weight of my clothes and water.

I sat there, daydreaming until I heard a splash, I looked to my left and saw Goku coming out of the water with a big fish. Not surprised but still impressed I grinned, " Wow... That'll last us until dinner" I said, earning a grin back from Goku.

As we started to walk back to the house with Goku happily dragging his prized fish, we heard a sound, " Huh? What's that noise?" Goku asked, starting to look around to search for the source of the noise when I felt something hit me, causing me to be thrown forward onto the ground.
